Most Cost-Effective Way to do Market Delta?

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forums and trading. I've been studying trading for a year and have done a few platform demos. I was using NT until I started learning more about market and volume profile. I was nudged towards Market Delta by the guys at Open Trader. However, once I looked into it, the price seems very high. Is there a way to use Market Delta that is more cost effective? And by that, I mean cheaper. The charts seem great, but that price seems steep for someone who is just starting out trading. Would love to hear thoughts on this! Thanks!

2nd Question

Do some of you just use the MD charts and a separate trading platform for order entry? If so, could you give me an idea of the costs and what you use? Thanks!

Sierra chart has all of the same features (i believe) at a fraction of the price,

Sierra Chart

There are also several add-ons for ninjatrader like the GOMI package, which is available free to elite members.

I wanted to chime in and provide what is hopefully useful information for you and anyone else reading this post.

Regarding cost/options, MarketDelta offers 2 products, Charts and Trader. Trader is a free trading platform with an integrated Footprint. MarketDelta Charts is the monthly subscription package with chart trading, advanced technical analysis, Footprint charts, Market Profile, Volume Profile, etc. The list goes on and on. It also comes with 24 hour support.

Regarding trading, MarketDelta Trader is our platform for trading. It has a DOM (depth of market), static price ladder, bracket order (and others) and single click order entry. It can be used stand alone for trading and you can use another charting service for the charts. There is no subscription cost to MarketDelta Trader.

One final note, MarketDelta is the creator and inventor of the Footprint (over 10 years of experience). MD Charts offers the greatest functionality of any platform. Because of our experience and we are the leading educator and authority on using and applying it. Professional traders and educators prefer MarketDelta for this reason which is why it was referred by the good folks at OpenTrader.

Feel free to contact a member of our team if you have any questions. We are happy to help in any way that we can.

How thorough is your training for actually reading the footprint charts? And is it accessible before one starts a subscription to your charts?

Our training is pretty comprehensive and we provide multiple ways for you to dig in. Most of the training is free via live, ongoing webinars and recorded webinars and other recorded videos. We also offer a live trading room where you can see the Footprint put to use each and every day.

One of the newest enhancements has been the Volume Imbalance Footprint which takes a lot of the work out of reading the Footprint. You can read more about it on our blog or even download the chart definition from there. You can reach us by phone at 877-906-2692 or 312-922-7800 if you would like to speak with someone.

Most cost effective footprint IMO is InvestorRT with the DeltaPrint indicator. IRT combined with the Delta print indicator is very competively priced. Check it out: www.amstradinggroup.com/deltaprint?ref=dp

Both IRT and AMS have great customer support.
