This was originally posted by ElliottWave. I'm just adding it here as there have been many requests.
ZiNonLagma is very similar to the StepMA indicator. Personally, I like it better as it seems more responsive and is easier to customize.
In the screen shot, I've set the line style to "hash" and the line width to "90". The reasons for these settings is to hide price noise that occurs behind the hash bars. I want it hidden because I'm only looking for "committed moves" by the market. Of course, you can use it as you wish.
I've been trying to add an "opacity" feature to the plotting but it's beyond my skills. Maybe someone wants to take a crack at adding that feature.
DeanV on the NT forum recently posted this new edition which features ability to plot dynamic PVP, i.e. it shows when the PVP/POC 'flipped' during any session. Works live but also on historical charts which is a godsend for review work.
Attached pic has a few extra things on it, but the dynamic PVP is the red hash plot. (The magenta bands are from the new hVWAP and are different from the dValueArea indicator. Also there are other bands there that are different too.)
Note: my version in the chart has some different colors from the one uploaded which is the original from Deanv.
A recent modification of the VWAP that allows you to save start and end times in templates, plus has multipliers for the SD bands and a couple of other features.
Picture shows a few other things, but the new hVWAP is the thick Magenta line and its SD bands are in similar color.
ZigZagOnParabolic MetaTrader indicator — based on two standard MT4/MT5 indicators — ZigZag and Parabolic SAR, it tries to show an improved version of the first one by marking the extrema of the chart with a smaller delay. Standard ZigZag looks for new extremum by searching the percentage deviation of the price from the previous extremum. This new ZigZag does so by looking at the Parabolic SAR indicator. Both ZigZag and the Parabolic SAR are drawn atop of the chart.
Input parameters:
Step (default = 0.02) — one of the parameters of the standard Parabolic SAR indicator.
Maximum (default = 0.2) — another parameter of the standard Parabolic SAR indicator.
ExtremumsShift (default = true) — if true then the extrema are shown at their actual places; if false then the extrema are shown at the points in time when they were detected. Useful to see the delay between the actual extremum appearance and its detection point.
History (default = 0) — amount of bars to use for calculation of the indicator. Change only if your PC is really slow. 0 — all bars are used in the calculation.

November 29th, 2020 08:01 PM mtaalamu RJay's bars are SO good, that I use them as the basis of ALL my trading decisions. I love, Love, LOVE! how "quiet" it ma
kes my charts.
Looking at range bars has completely weaned me from its time-based counterparts.
Thanks RJay!

I still use other bars... Reversal Bars, Simple Minute Bars, ROE BARS from Trade The Plan and Volume Bars....
and these are a good classic if you want to really test something with just RANGE as a Variable.
