thanks for making vol stop v2 top of the month download here is ver 3 it seems to create nice s/r lines, specify the lenght in the parm section. use it to find turning point, triangle is text book signal, diamond is a more iffy signal, try bracket trade around the signal.

- adapted for use with NT7
- fix triangle up vol not painted
- fix dot length so the number of dots plotted will be the same as the number you enter
- change a square dot to a round dot
ps. it's 100% safe to overwrite the old indicator
100% no re-paint certified
The Murrey Math trading system is primarily based upon the observations made by W.D. Gann in the first half of the 20th century.
While Gann was purported to be a brilliant trader in any market his techniques have been regarded as complex and difficult to implement.
The great contribution of Murrey Math (T. H. Murrey) was the creation of a system of geometry that can be used to describe market price movements in time. This geometry facilitates the use of Gann's trading techniques.
OK.....here's my lastest shot at the Paint Bar Factory indicators. You'll need the ColorSampleUniversal indicator the RSqueeze the HMAColors Paint and the ZigZag.
The upper plot is the total number of shares or contracts offered for sale in the Level 2 order book. The lower plot is the total number of shares or contracts bid to buy in the Level 2 Order Book. The yellow plot is the bids minus the offers.
Maxrows is the user setting that controls how many rows of the order book are counted. In panel 2 we have the totals for all ten of the bid and all ten of the ask rows. In panel 3, with Maxrows set at 5, we see the totals for the 5 inside rows of bid and ask.
This will work in realtime or market replay mode. Changing any chart settings deletes existing plots, and there is no backfill. This limitation is because of the way Ninjatrader stores data. I started working on a DOMRecorder indicator to correct this. May take a while.
Thanks ZTrade for the idea of this indicator, and for the original implementation which worked fine in NT6.5 but had problems because of undocumented changes in NT7.
This is an NT7 indicator used to write timestamped OHLC and volume data from the open chart to a text file for analysis outside of NT (Excel, Matlab, R, etc). It gives you the option to use different characters for delimiting files, as well as the option to split Date and Time into two separate fields. Upcoming features include custom DateTime formats.
Feel free to help make it better!
Change Log:
30 Jan 2010. Ver 1.0 posted.
31 Jan 2010. Ver 1.1 posted. Cleans up the code and displays variables for planned future enhancements.
20 Feb 2010. Ver 2.0 posted. Split path and file name options and added filename default to instrument name/barstype/periodicity, which should make batch usage easier. MXASJ stopping development of this as an INDICATOR in favor of a STRATEGY called ExportData which will be posted seperately.
Updated version of the original indicator posted by Cunparis. Same logic. I found that the colors were not serialized and if you changed any of the bar colors upon saving the template & re-loading, they reverted back to the original default colors. I added serialization to the indicator code so that if you decide to change the default colors, once you save your template, the color changes will be saved also.
NEW! Updated on March 1 because of run time errors in NT7B10. Cleaned up the code in the OnMarketDepth method, and removed list row creation from Plot method.
The Histogram Width Factor gives you full control of that width, and is a double, not an integer. For the ES you might want to go as low as 0.15. Also note that the bar opacity is on a scale of 0 to 255.
The histogram will auto scale according to the width of the chart, to always leave some space to the left of the longest histogram bar regardless of your Histogram Width Factor setting.
You can also select the number of rows to display with MaxRows, under Level II Settings. For most instruments, you can get a maximum of ten levels of bid and ask.
Thanks to John Thom for the original version and to RJay for the updated version. All I did was make it run in NT7. I am a strong advocate of migrating to NT7 ASAP.
