SessionPivots for Intraday Charts Version 8.4 (March 2010) 5 *
Guys, I'm posting this here because I find it to be an absolutely fantastic pivot indicator. this is the version for Ninja 6.5.

Exported using NT Version 6.5.1000.14, will not run on NT 7

Give all credit and thanks (and questions) to Harry on the Ninja Trader Forum, I've been using these for quite some time and they are brilliant.

The download file reads SessionPivotsV5b, because is it automatically renamed by the forum software, inside you will find version 8.4

Family of Indicators for display of current day, week, and month OHLC, daily, weekly and monthly pivots.

Version 8.4 includes Fibonacci Pivots

Includes a number of options such as floor pivots, Fibonacci pivots, Camarilla pivots, Woodies pivots, VWAP of prior session and midpivots. The indicators work on fixed period, tick, volume and range charts.

Right side chart margin: Please set the right side margin under chart properties to at least 100 to allow for correct display of labels.

DailyBars mode: Quick and easy solution. If supported by your data supplier you may get the settlement price instead of the close. Sessions are only needed for locating lines horizontally. In Dailybars mode you will usually get full session pivots.

CalcFromIntradayData mode: More options, but pivots will be false, if you select the wrong session for the chart. In CalcFromIntradayData mode,
session end time under chart properties should be ideally identical with session end time chosen for the indicator (to compare convert session end time of indicator to PC clock time).

Session times: Pivots can be calculated from daily bars or from intraday data. In both modes enter session times via indicator panel to allow for correct display. For predefined markets enter session times in the timezone of the exchange, for all other markets set indicator to local mode and enter session times in the timezone of your PC clock. For predefined markets adjustment for daylight saving time will be automatic, in local mode you have to do this manually.

Supported markets: CME (ES, EMD, NQ, YM, ZB, ZN, ZF, ZT, 6A, 6B, 6C, 6E, 6J, 6S, ZC, ZL, ZM, ZS, ZW), NYMEX(CL, QM, HO, RB, NG. GC, SI, HG), NYBOT (TF, CC. CT, KC, SB) EUREX (FDAX, FESX, FGBL, FGBM), IPE (COIL, GOIL) and FOREX. For all other markets and instrument the indicator will only work in local mode.

Intraday sessions: For some special applications (Pivots based on night session, opening hour or any intraday session) you may haveto set IntradaySession mode to true to avoid 24 hour delay of display in some cases.

Example how to use: ES futures

(1) In CalcFromIntradayData mode it is recommended to set the session times under chart properties first. The session times needs to be entered in time of your PC clock. So if your PC clock is Eastern Time (New York) you would enter session begin = 4:30 PM, session end = 4:15 PM. Pivots will be accurate, if you enter session times here. For "DailyBars" and "UserDefinedValues" mode this is not required.

(2) For full session pivots (ETH) you will now enter the session times via indicator panel. This is (for CME you have to use Central Time) session begin: 3:30 PM, session end 3:15 PM, session break: 15 minutes. Full session pivots can be calculated from both daily data or intraday data. Some data suppliers use the settlement price for daily data, so you would get based pivots based on the settlement price in "DailyBars" mode.

(3) For day session pivots (RTH) you need to select "CalcFromIntradayData" mode and enter session begin: 8:30 AM, session end 3:15 PM and session break: 15 minutes.

Pace of Tape 5 *
This indicator will show the # of ticks in the last x seconds. At key turning points, professionals will start scaling in and/or reversing. This will cause an increase in the activity in terms of the number of ticks.

When you get a peak, the reversal has probably already occurred, so this is used more to tell you to expect a reversal then it is to time the reversal itself.

Also keep in mind that in a strong move, professionals will scale out of their positions and may have to reverse two or more times (in effect averaging down). This is normal so keep in mind that the signals can be early. If price doesn't react to a signal, expect a another attempt by the pro's. If price doesn't react to the second attempt then the move is very strong.

It only works with tick charts. The lower the tick size the more accurate.

See this blog post for more information including a short video & annotated chart.

Template for building data for persistent indicators
I am in the process of running replay for 10 days to build data for the persistent indicators recorded by Gom & Zondor Recorders for the new front contract months.

Since I had errors it was necessary to remove previous files before starting

I set an environmental variable:

Inst_Name_Month#_year.Binary.dat, &
Inst_Name_Month#_year.Flat.dat

Ex: 6E 06-10.Binary.dat
Ex: 6E 06-10.Mili.dat (think this is the name)

Run a second chart for as long as you need - I do a week - with the following template for each instrument.

This template uses 2 recorders (Gom & Zondor) both recording Binary, milisecond could be used, for a total of up to 4 files of recorded for each instrument. I run one Instrument at a time: Takes less than 30 min.
But someone can play with this...
.
Do it once there and keep up with the data.
Other options are for: IRT, QCollector & QcollectorIQ.

DoubleZ Trading Suite FOR NT7 ONLY 5 *
Trading Suite Developed by Zondor and ZTrade101. Makes extensive use of the GomRecorder so once again, merci beaucoup, Gomi !!
(Note: When a trade occurs at or above the ask it's a "buy", and when at or below the bid, it's a "sell".) Package contents:

BetterBuySellVolume2
BMTCollectiveMAQuikStart
BMTEnvelopeExpansion301
DailyATR
DOMBandsHybrid
GomRecorderIndicator
JMA7MC
JT_RealStats_RJ7v106
TickMFOscillator_GR_

ZondorRecorderV2

BetterBuySellVolume: Based on Barry Taylor's Better Volume concept, but instead of using upticks and downticks, it gets buy and sell volumes from the GomRecorder. Use with calculate on bar close = false and watch it evaluate each bar in real time, often changing its mind right up until the bar completes. Equivolume mode must be used for charts with Constant Volume intervals. May load very slowly on charts with more than a few hundred bars back. X=climax (local maximum of product of buy volume or sell volume times range), u=Up, D=Down, C=Churn, Lo=Low Volume. Set markers = True to mark the bars with these legends right on the Price Panel. There are various different ways of detecting the criteria. I hope you will look at the code and let me know what you think!

This one has a lot of potential for improvement. The criteria detection algorithms could be refined. Additional conditions, such as volume patterns and stopping volume, could be tested for. The method of storing condition status in a string is clunky and can be streamlined. Please share your ideas so that we can make this MORE Better.

TickMoneyFlowOscillator Using GomRecorder data, calculates the product of buy volume and price, or sell volume and price, adding or subtracting the product from a cumulative total. Then an MA of the total is subtracted from the total to make it oscillate. The color is based on whether the cumulative total, not the oscillator, is rising or falling. I like to overlay this on the price panel, with the price scale on the right and the TMFO scale on the left. Sometimes this gives nice clues about which way things will go out of a sideways congestion zone.

TradeSizeDistribution Using GomRecorder data, looks at each incoming trade and sorts its volume into one of several "buckets" based on whether the trade is a buy (plots above zero) or a sell (plots below zero). Then the trades on each side of zero are grouped and summed within 4 size ranges (small, medium, large, extra large) and grouped together. The breakpoints for the size groups are the lower volume limit... etc user settings which you must set based on the way your instrument trades. A medium size trade in the ES would be an extra large trade in the YM, etc.. You have the option of either displaying the VOLUME of trades within each size range, or the NUMBER OF TRADES within each size range!

DomBandHybrid is a persistent version of ZTrade's Dom bands indicator that achieves data persistence with a data recorder. The new ZondorRecorder (based on the GomRecorder, of course!) is customized to record LEVEL 2 data. When run in real time, the Level 2 data come directly from the OnMarketDepth Method. This avoids the errors that the GomRecorder is subject to under certain conditions (because of Ninja Trader's coarse time stamping). If the chart is changed or refreshed, the previous bars in a real time only indicator would disappear. But in this version, they are reloaded from the ZondorRecorder; then from that point forward until the next refresh, all data will come directly from the OnMarketDepth Method. This indicator generates run time errors, but they are handled, and appear in the Output Window as Trapped Exceptions. Therefore they do not crash the program. Would certainly appreciate if anyone can help me diagnose the cause of the errors.

JMA7MC is a version of the JMA moving average with true multi color plotting of a single plot using the PlotColors Method. That method does not exist in NT6.5.

The BMT CollectiveMA and Envelope Expansion were modified to force the Collective MA to rapidly converge upon the price series. However when setting these up, you need to go back at least one previous day, or they will not plot anything.

See These Posts for Trendline Alert Info & TrendLineAlertCustom & NT Video near minute 21 explains this new feature.

See discussion about recording in Binary vs Flat for GOM & Zondor Recorders.

Instructions for the ZondorRecorder: This is a customized version of the GomRecorder for LEVEL 2 data. The recording and playback work almost the same. The ZondorRecorder stores data in files prefixed with DOMBANDS, so a typical file name would be DOMBANDSCL-05-10_binary.dat. The DOMBANDS prefix ensures that these files will not have the same names as files made by the GomRecorder. By default the files will be placed in the My Documents folder. If you want to store them somewhere else, create a Windows Environment Variable with the Name ZONDORFOLDER and the Value being the valid path to your designated storage folder. ( Refer to Lines 207 and 236 of the .cs file.)

Range Bar Predictor and Price Panel 4 *
Exported with Version 6.5. I do not have Version 7 (I don't want to be a pioneer. A pioneer is a guy who ends up in a ditch with arrows in his back).

This is a Range Bar Hi/Lo Predictor (RangeBarPredictor) and a Price Panel (PricePanel) with the Hi/Lo numbers as well as price for the current bar and the previous bar with an option to show the angle of the EMA(34). This was requested by steve2222 in the Wizard II thread.

To insert the PricePanel into a NinjaTrader chart; click on Properties, click on Right Side Margins and change it to 140. Insert PricePanel, it will show up in the expanded right hand margin. There are some adjustments that allow you to change the vertical location of the data.

The panel shows, countdown timer to bar completion in Ticks, Number of Ticks to closest bar end( Green for ticks to High and red for Ticks to Low) current price, Hi/Lo of current bar, Projected HI/Lo of current bar, previous bar close , previous bar Hi/Lo and the angle of the EMA(34).

This panel has been around on NinjaTrader for a long time in various versions with code written by way to many people to give credit to everyone who contributed. I am NOT a programmer, please have a professional review this code before using to trade real money.

Insert the RangeBarPredictor in the panel with the price bars. A down arrow will show the predicted high start of the next bar and an up arrow will show the predicted low start of the next bar. You have an option to change the colors of the arrows. Various versions of this indicator have been posted on NinjaTrader over the years.

FibConfluence 5 *
Exported using NT 7.0.0.10

dsFibConfluence is a NinjaTrader indicator which draws Fibonacci extensions from various high and low pivot points. The random lines create what is commonly known as the fib cluster or the fib confluence points. The Fibonacci confluences acts as a good support/resistance points.

dsFibConfluence uses the Zigzag function to detect the pivot points, and uses the pivots to draws three fib extention levels. One at 161.8%, the other at 261.8% and the last at 423.6% of the swing.
