this indicator colors a bar green if its close is above the prior close. The idea is to go with trend ie if 2 green bars trend is up. the example uses 2 range chart, type 2r hit enter to switch to 2 range chart.

I found a couple of glitches in the code (SEE... I TOLD you I wasn't a professional programmer...). I uploaded the corrected version 19 January 2011. The "None" choice wasn't working correctly.
This is an updated version that includes the JMA moving average, None (No ma type, so you can plot a regular MA) and the option to draw an Arrow on the price panel when the trend changes.
Several people have asked me about the buttons on my NinjaTrader charts, So I extracted the buttons code from my trading tools indicator and upload the code here. It allows you to put user defined push buttons on the chart to perform customized actions.
Note: This is for NinjaScript programmers who want to add customized buttons to their chart to perform customized actions. This is just the user click-able interface. You will have to provide your own code to customize the actions performed by the buttons.
Supertrend indicator is based around average true range. Green indicates a bullish trend and red indicates a bearish trend. The indicator parameters let you set the atr length and multiplier.
This strategy is based off of the Detrended Price Oscillator indicator in the Strategy Trader platform. The EA will generate a buy signal when DPO value crosses above the zero line, and the EA will generate a sell signal when DPO value crosses below the zero line. A limit order can be specified in the EA parameters for exit.
This is an improved version of the drive indicator.
The indicator detects both volatility and momentum and shows the relationsship between bullish momentum or bearish momentum and volatility.
Volatility is measured via the absolute value of the indicator. You will notice, how it moves up during the day session and moves down during the night session.
Momentum is measured as the difference between the two lines. Positive momentum is shown as green and negative momentum is shown as red. The momentum is measured via the enhanced momentum indicator, which is included.
The lines are smoothed with a Hull moving average for display.

May 21st, 2016 07:36 PM Randy Dotson I know nothing about programming NT7. But I would really like a buy stop limit and a sell stop limit button that would p
ut the order at the price that would complete the bar. In other words, a bar is building. I have the quantity and strate
gy set up on the chart trader. As the current bar is building, I push the buy or sell button and it places the order at
one tick above or below what will be the top or bottom of the range bar. That is the price that will have to be hit for
the bar to complete. Can anyone help with this. It would be dependent on the range in use on the chart it was being used
on.
