I came up with this trading idea and a programmer did the coding for me. After some optimization, the results look decent. But in real time it could be a different story. Please do not risk your real $. I repeat, please do not risk your real money.
Basically, the strategy will buy on dips within an uptrend, and sell on rallies on a downtrend. For example, if there is an uptrend (as indicated in the Fisher Transform plot in a 9-range bar chart), then looking at the 4-range bar chart, if the price touches lower Bollinger band and turns green, buy close + 1 tick stop limit. To go short, look for a red 4-range bar touching upper Bollinger band with 9-bar Fisher transform in a downtrend. Stop loss order, target, daily maximum loss and break-even stop are all here and are optimizable.
On the parameter screen, 'stop' is initial stoploss order, 'MoveStopAfterMove' is the amount of unrealized profit to show in the current trade before the break-even stop kicks in. 'StopAfterMove' is its 'offset', I set it at 0, so it becomes a break-even stop. The rest of the parameters should be self explanatory.
So far my back testing shows quite good results daytrading 6E, ES, CL and ZS. Please send me a message and let me know what you think.

An implementation of James Sibbet's 'Demand Index'. Original sources on this formula seem hard to come by, this is based on thinkorswim's implementation.

Indicator paints when confirming both CCIs above or below zero. Can use one CCI for trend and other for entries and exits similar to Jeff's CCI - but longer frame CCI for trend instead of MAs. CCI lengths are adjustable inputs. Need to change color of your instrument bar to the neutral color (yellow in my case). Noob with EL so take it easy on me.
Version 2.0
Note: improvement on the v1 is that the ray lines colors are kept in memory of NT so no more transparent lines when you boot NT.
Quoting
This is a modification of the Swings indicator in NT7. The standard indicator does not extend the lines all the way to the right while this one does.
No one else had written this, so this is my attempt.
This indicator places ray lines at the swing highs and lows and removes them once the lines are violated. If you wish to show the violated swing points, there is an option to replace the rays with short lines.
There is also an option to sound an audio alert when each price line is broken.
This indicator uses some enhancements in NT7 to read the data directly from the drawn objects which are not supported in NT6.5.

This Bollinger Band indicator is the same as the one that comes with NT. However, it has several capabilities added.
Choose from the following Moving Averages
1. EMA
2. SMA
3. LinReg
4. TMEA
5. LLMA
6. ZeroLagEMA
7. ZeroLagTEMA
8. Regression Channel
Can use an adaptive period by setting the period parameter to "1".
Choose your own colors.
Color the lines based on
1. moving average rising and falling
2. moving average is above or below price,
3. combination of both of number 1 and 2
4. outer bands compressing/decompressing
~ upper/middle/lower sections in different colors for both K and D values
~ optional background colors for overbought and oversold levels
~ optional audio alert if K value moves out of overbought or oversold region
Note: You will need to create the required sound files (StochsOS and StochOB) and save them in the sounds folder else the audio alert will not work.

July 22nd, 2013 12:54 AM Amsterdam Whale I'm so awed at this particular moment by the power of groups of strangers sharing one particular goal.... we give wholeh

May 15th, 2022 01:41 PM gringa I already love your indicator and can't wait to use it in the live market tomorrow. Being able to show the broken rays a
nd differentiate them from the unbroken ones is quite useful!
May 15th, 2022 12:24 PM gringa Just discovered this, looking forward to seeing it in action. Just what I was looking for to easily spot liquidity areas
. I really like that it differentiates open from closed swing points.
