ATRback 5 *
Hello Traders, there are certain time slots during the day where the volatility increases. This could be due to news releases at certain times or institutional adjustments after the 'morning meetings'. This indicator is a modification of the ATR indicator that makes the average of the ATR 1 (range of one candle) and allows you to set how many candles back to evaluate. For simplicity the candles in the pic are set to 60minutes and the 4 instances of ATRback are set to look back 23, 46, 69, and 92 candles ( 1,2,3,4 trade days back) so you can spot the time slots where the range of the 1 hour candles tend to increase. Another application might be to set the lookback in intervals of a week, so you would be looking at that day of the week 1,2,3,4,weeks back.

This indicator has worked on several instances of NT 8 and several bar types. It was exported using NT8 v14.2

Identify unusually large price movements. If the range for the bar is outside of the standard deviation then the bar gets highlighted. There are also options to draw arrows on your main chart, and trigger alerts.

Really good at warning you of large movements triggered by news.

Lines on the indicator show you the average range, and how much range deviates from that average. Basically if that bar is above the top line it will be highlighted. Try different values for the periods and deviation factor to get the movements that you want highlighted.

I recommend using the plots on the indicator to help get the settings that you want, and then resizing the panel to hide the plot. Then just rely on the arrows and alerts.

Custom Coming Events (for MultiCharts) - v1
This small indicator displays coming events at the future time. Their times are manually input by the user. It could be used during live trading, in order not to forget news, end of session or personal obligations.

The input fields allow defining time and title for 10 coming events.

The economic calendar indciator will post economic news announcements directly onto the chart along with the actual figure released. The indicator will display any economic events relevant to the currency pair displayed in the chart. For example if you are viewing USD/JPY, it will display economic releases relevant to the US and Japan. The indicator pulls data from the DailyFX economic calendar.

Economic Events - Upcoming Events 5 *
This indicator creates a text box with upcoming economic events to alert the trader of possible market moving announcements.

In this screenshot, taken on 15:56 local time (Western-Europe), you can see that Geithner was about to speak in 4 minutes (a Medium impact event) and the American business inventories were also announced in four minutes.

Most of the settings are self-explanatory. The 'TicksOffSetBottom' is the number of ticks you want the text box be displayed above the lowest value on the price scale. The 'RecalcAfter' is the number of seconds the box is updated - this is included to prevent excessive updating from MultiCharts to keep everything running smoothing.

Important note: you'll need the Economic Events Collection for MultiCharts (found here and see this thread) to use this indicator.

Changelog
v1.01 - February 15th, 2012
There was a logarithmic error in the original version published on February 14th, which would trigger a "Logarithmic error" pop-up message when the remaining minutes for an economic event was 0 minutes. This error is fixed now and the new version attached to this post.

Economic News Indicator for NT8 5 *
Version 1.0.1:

This indicator shows the economic news for the day on your chart in Ninjatrader 8. It is fully configurable for the type of news items you would like to see, the colors of different impact news items, the fonts you want to use and which countries you would like to see news items for.

Version 1.0.2:

- Not displaying date as the news is for the current day only. Will refresh automatically for the next day
- Showing the time of the news item in its raw format as it comes from the source

Version 1.0.3:

- Fixed layout bug when no news items are returned

Version 1.0.4:

- Indicator now allows time offset to be configured to show news announcement time in your time zone, thanks to @sagor

Version 1.0.5:

- Fixed a bug where the event time was not assigned to the new time with the applied times zone. Times will now display correctly in your chosen time offset.

Version 1.0.6:
-Parsing the source date with US date format. Indicator will now work for users that have a non standard date format. Thanks @Aregon for helping out with the debugging
-Can now specify a right hand margin to offset the indicator if necessary

Version 1.0.7:

-Renamed Right Hand Margin parameter to Left Hand Margin, which it actually is

-Removed code that overrides grid line settings on a chart. Indicator will now leave grid lines as per chart template.

Economic News Indicator v2a 4 *
I have created a basic economic news indicator using the ForexFactory feed. It's pretty much a port of the FFCal indicator for Metatrader.

10/19 - Fixed a date/time formatting issue with non-"en-US" cultures.

Market Reminders 5 *
Indicator prints unlimited number of user defined reminders on the occurring bars on the chart. Also works on historical bars. I mainly use it to remind me of scheduled Economic Reports, and other miscellaneous times, and daily tasks. Reminders list only has to be entered once. An unlimited number of reminders can be used. Use '\n' to insert a new line in the displayed text.

Schedule is in the following format, one line per entry, in 24 hour military time:
Example: THU @ 08:25 Jobless Claims report => Every Thursday at 8:25am, print the specified text on the chart
Example: 3rd THU @ 09:55 Philly Fed Report => 3rd Thursday of every month at 9:55am, print the specified text on the chart

News is displayed in the upper left corner and is also shown as vertical lines on your chart.
You can choose if you want to show low, medium and/or high impact news
The time used is GMT. you can set a time offset in hours to adjust it to your own timezone
Furthermore you can ignore news for specific currencies (see the forex calendar). e.g. NZD will hide any NZD related news
