I took the data cunparis posted here but when I import it the times of the data are all based on US Eastern time zone time, but all of my data in Ninja is local to my time zone (US Pacific time zone) so merging my local, current data to this historical data would be a mess. So I wrote a program that reads in the .txt file, subtracts X hours from the time and writes out a new file. The result is attached here. I used this tool to convert the data, which you can download and use yourself if you want to convert it to a different time zone.
An implementation of the Elder Impulse trading system. Includes support for a second, higher time frame period for determining trend and momentum. The background is painted pink when the higher time frame trend and momentum is down, and green when it is up. The rules for entering and exiting a trade are described here on Investopedia.
Graphs ATR (green line) and the size of the corresponding bar in yellow ( |High-Low| ). Can be useful in determining if a signal bar of large enough to take by visualizing it's size relative to ATR. Was introduced here.

October 3rd, 2010 08:24 PM zacharydw00 dadof3and3 fixed this similar program, that is on NT's forum, for me. He fix a couple if issues with it. The original
version didn't convert all 24 hrs of data. It stopped at 4:15 and skipped to the next day. Also, it crashed on files l
arger than 300MB. In addition to the fixes, he increased the number of time zones to add or subtract. To answer BM;s q
uestion, I've used it to convert 600MB tick files. I'm not sure where he posted the fixed version, or if he did post i
t. Check NT's forum.
