Colored WMA based on slope. version 1.001 Simple but useful.
For example -
To recreate the wave in this picture use a 330WMAColored, 160WMAColored, and 30WMAColored. Then build the wave with standard WMAs from 1wma to 160wma spaced every 6.
This is a modified version of an existing indicator for which I've been unable to uncover the original programmer.
As best I can interpret the code, it paints UpBars/DownBars based on whether the current Median Price is greater than or less than the Median Price of the last six bars.
It also uses two additional colors to mark where the Up/Down trend is fading, which is based on comparing the LinRegSlope of the last 3 bars rising/falling.
The Neutral Bar is colored when the current bar Median Price is equal to the Median Price of the last six bars.
My modification only added the "Hollow Candle" effect to Up closing bars. I did not change any of the Trend decision making program logic.
just a scalping tool buy blue sell red in conjunction with your other indicators just a modified linear regression...thanks to zeller for all his help and work on this...sharky
This is ZigZag UTC with trend lines and fib tools. It counts number of bars of each swing. It also shows bar count in progress and fib retracement in progress.

This was originally posted by ElliottWave. I'm just adding it here as there have been many requests.
ZiNonLagma is very similar to the StepMA indicator. Personally, I like it better as it seems more responsive and is easier to customize.
In the screen shot, I've set the line style to "hash" and the line width to "90". The reasons for these settings is to hide price noise that occurs behind the hash bars. I want it hidden because I'm only looking for "committed moves" by the market. Of course, you can use it as you wish.
I've been trying to add an "opacity" feature to the plotting but it's beyond my skills. Maybe someone wants to take a crack at adding that feature.
I don't care about the colors or shape of the indicator or if it's above 80 or under 20
Only the UP and DOWN values
Stay long until there's value above Zero in DOWN
Stay short until there's value above Zero in UP
September 27th, 2010 01:11 PM fxprobie I have been using this on both 6.5 and NT7 and it works well on both. Only bug bear which is minor and of my own making
is that I sometimes like to have it updated live. ie not on bar close and this can give a couple of wiggley bits. Start
s one colour going down and then changes and goes up leaving spikes. Moral: wonderful indicator not to be used on live u
