A really helpful indicator for every day, slim : The necessary is met, without unneeded features, workin' fully automatic, fast updates, great overview, adjustable
for your personal needs. I use it 12 weeks now and I'm happy with it.
Thanks
Thank you!
5* may be premature as I've only just installed it but if I don't rate now I probably won't (a man's got to know his limitations).
I've searched and tried so many and found problems such as:
DTTWin uses a dll which some don't like. Doesn't bother me as the owner isn't likely to mess with customers, however, whilst the original source of the news is FF, the dll takes it from a mirror on his own site (which has some enhancements to the FF presentation of news). His site frequently blocks my IP address returning an error 403 both on his news page and the dll for the Ninja indicator. FF's site doesn't block me, and this indie gets new direct from FF.
jtEcononews (on which DTTW is built) - despite various claims to have been fixed by others, when I install most recent versions by whoever, there are various problems such as slows down all indicator window response etc
Tried Microtrendsquawk box and it had constant problems reading the news sources .txt file.
And a few others such as Market Reminders that don't get the news, just set an alarm.
Here's hoping, but looking good so far.
Only criticism I can see as yet is it cannot 'overlay' on the chart as DTTW/jtEcononews, - it takes up valuable chart real estate as a result, quite a lot percentage-wise. However it can be hidden, use sound alerts and only bring it up when you want it, or use a New chart, stick it on that and shrink or minimise the chart Windows window.
