Relative Strength V1 NT8b9.

Measures relative strength between two instruments.

* Includes 3 formulae:

Tom Dorsey

Mansfield/ Weinstein

Investor\RT

* Includes option to start at a fixed date. Option to start from high or low of this date.

Known limitations:

* Will only work on time-based or EOD bars.
* Intra-day session times may differ between symbols so please take this into account.
* Will not currently use fixed date intra-day.
* Smoothed function is not available on fixed date.
(These may be available at a later date).
* I have opted not to multiply the Dorsey formula by 100. He states the results are easier to read but I do not think they reflect the true ratio.

I have tried to test all scenarios but let me know if you find a bug.

Good morning Sim 22,

I like the idea of this very much. I trade the NOB spread (the ZN/ZB) FOB (ZF/ZB) and think this could identify the spread directly.

I am having a problem installing it in the latest version of NT8.

The error code I get is;

Import failed, The NinjaScript Archive File may contain duplicate method names that already exist on your PC, modify a method signature that other scripts were dependent on, or be missing a required file on either your PC or in the import archive.

Any Ideas?

I get the same error msg:

Any Ideas?

Error compiling import assembly: c:\Users\User\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\tmp\Import\Files\bin\Custom\Indicators\Sim22\Sim22_RelativeStrength.cs(135,14) : error CS1061: 'NinjaTrader.Data.Bars' doesn't include a definition of 'IsTimebased'

That's the log referred to the failed import
