HG is a template not a workspace. You just open a new chart then load his template.

Hello Wiz:

This is my first post to you and on Big Mike's site. First things first, glad you are doing well.
My problem seems to be with the workspace: I have the workspace in the correct directory and when I go to open it, all of my other workspaces vanish. Of course, I can click them and reactivate them under the workspaces tab. The "HolyGrail" also shows up in my workspaces tab, but when I click it, again all the other workspaces go away.

Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?

Thanks.

Scott

Thanks. Just had to put it in the right place. I put it in Workspaces not Templates.

Now it works. Thanks.

Does anyone have practical experience and Opinions for the Zen-Fire Tick settings for Holy Grail?

What seems to work best?

Hey Wizard

I think your indicator package you have put together looks great. I downloaded your template (thanks heaps for sharing!) and got really excited looking at how it performed historically.

Today was my first day using it "live" (well, paper trading). I have found that the colored bars (DoubleMA Paint_SharkyPkg) re-paint themselves after the fact. I get a couple of red bars in a row, I go short...low and behold a few bars later those bars that were red have turned blue!! (and the market has moved higher!).

Have you (or anyhone else) noticed this at all? Is there a fix?

Cheers,
Simon

Gannman, Check Rjay's post (post # 279) in this thread. It is there that he posted his 'fixed' version of the DoubleMAPaint indicators (fixed, so that they do not repaint). Hope this helps.

Thanks So much Wizard.

One more q: I copied the CS file to Documents / NT6.5 / bin / Custom / Indicator. I then selected Tools > Edit NinjaScript and opened the new CS file and closed it again, however I still cannot see it as an indicator to put on my chart. Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thanks
Simon

Quit NinjaTrader. Re-launch & see if it's there. I think I had the same problem & Rjay suggested closing NT & relaunching. Let me know. I can always re-export them as a .zip file for you if you'd like.

Thanks Wiz. Tried quitting NT and restarting but still can't see them. If you could re-post as a zip file I would be most grateful. BTW are you still use the same settings for these indicators (the blue and magenta squares!)? Sorry if this has already been covered. I am trying to get myself up to speed with this amazing post but fear I have several hours to go!

Cheers

Simon,

Here's the latest. I've added the PRC indicator, as it seems to provide some value. I've attached the indicators (zip file), the screen shot (jpg) and the chart template (.xml). Best of luck, mate.

Thanks mate.

Sorry to bug you with another question...I tried importing the indicator package (HolyGrail.zip) and got the message "Import Failed. There are NinjaScript files in the imported NinjaScript Archive File that have programming errors. These errors must be resolved before you can import the NinjaScript Archive File".

Any thoughts?

Thank you
Simon
