So @FulcrumTrader's recent posts (and others) have got me interested in checking out Investor/RT.

Investor/RT: The Trader's Ultimate Toolbox

I plan to share my feedback as I go through the process of setting up the new platform. I am not a market profile guy, and have not previously used many cumulative delta studies. For platforms the bulk of my recent experience is with NinjaTrader and MultiCharts, so if you can relate to that then you'll be able to relate to my journey

I have downloaded the IRT Market Profile Pro edition w/Trading Sys Tools and will be using DTN IQfeed for data.

Chad from Linn Software has emailed me and sent me some links (mostly some videos to help familiarize myself with the platform) and I will be checking them out this weekend (I hope). I have to say right off the bat, the video library on their website is quite extensive and impressive.

Investor/RT - Video Library

There has to be over 100 videos there. So needless to say I plan to try to watch several of them before diving in and making a fool of myself

I'll update this thread as I go along. It might be a couple days. Hopefully you guys can also help me out

Mike

At this time, Inv RT is the premier platform for tracking order flow (market order driven order flow) and connected with DTN.IQ feed is by far the most reliable charting tool in the order flow tracking game.

MD is just fine, but I don't use MD footprints and I never use MP so the $60 a month Inv RT Pro does just fine for my needs.

I like this feature where you can transfer important key levels from Market Profile to a regular candle stick chart:

Created by Camtasia Studio 3

Regarding MP vs I/RT you must realise that MD is an offspring of i/RT.

Chad from Linn just trained me and some other brokers on RT today...super nice guy.
We liked the Cumulative delta features and market profile, but that is a whole methodology in itself that I would love to learn. BTW, seems what @ gomi created for free is exactly what market delta is charging for? or is there a difference? We hooked up RT investor with Rithmic.

Gomi work is close to MD, but it has some functionalities and mods versions, that MD hasn't!
The issue is NT, otherwise i think gomi stuff could surpass MD.

Good luck Mike. Chad is extremely helpful as is Trevor at MD. I currently use MD, and have so for 3+ years but will get rid of it in the new year and move over to IRT as I feel the Volume Ladder that Gomi has created meets all my needs in terms of traking bid ask data. I use MP to obtain overall structiure of the market so I only need the MP component and charts which IRT supports.
