Let's start with the 60 minute pivots. While this functionality is not currently available to our Pivot Indicator, I just did some work to enable it in the next release (version 12.1.6 which should be available very soon). See the image below. This is how you'll need to set it up once 12.1.6 comes out, and what you'll see as a result. You can use 60 minute bars as the basis of the pivots, or ANY other periodicity for that matter (30 min, 120 min, volume bars, range bars, weekly or monthly bars). And by checking the "Text on Right" checkbox, each level will be label accordingly on the right (R1, PP, S2, etc). I will get back to you soon on the Vervoort.

Hi Chad, custom pivots do not seem working in 12.1.6. Please see the screenshot.

Yes. Unfortunately, I was not able to squeeze that into 12.1.6. 12.1.6 was primarily to tighten everything up with 12.1 before moving on with 12.2 and wanted to introduce as little new code as possible. We do intend to release 12.2 beta very soon (hopefully early next week) with this in it and several other interesting features including ability to Profile any indicator.

I also intend to code up the Vervoort as an RTX extension and will try to get that to you early next week as well. One question on that. I will have a few more questions for you soon on that when I begin coding it.

You are very welcome to ask any questions. I think a development process of the study will require interim testing.

Thank you Chad! Sounds good.

Re Vervoort.

I know how to plot HA in IRT but I do never apply the crossover to HA charts. The question is just how to reference HAopen, HAclose, HAmin and HAmax in a formula. With CQG I use this code

where n is a variable # of a bar back.

Alphachase,

Working on this now.

When it says..

Curve 2

TEMA1:= TEMA.c1^(@,Period);

what are we performing the TEMA on? Just the raw closing prices of the bars?

Hi Chad,

Yes, for this particular formula it is a last price.

OK, so I've got it calculating the two prices/curves. Do you prefer to see these two prices both plotted as lines overlaying the bars? or in a separate pane as an oscillator (difference between the two). Like this... https://screencast.com/t/WRatGolfkey

I even don't need to see them, all i need is a signal up or down when a crossover occurs. Please see screenshot. Arrows show crossovers. CL 5 min chart. For some charts i make a separate pane just to see how is close a difference to 0.

I think it would better to have them as an oscillator, so I can make signals for crossovers in my IRT copy. The only important point is to have "period" as a variable.

Your screenshot looks great...
