The Investor/RT SDK can call and examine one or more array results of any built-in technical indicators supported by the end user's underlying edition of Investor/RT. Some indicators are available only in Professional editions; some are available only in Market Profile enabled editions of Investor/RT. Within the plugin code, the irt_plugin_create_techind() function is called with a preferences string to setup the built-in indicator to be calculated. These preferences strings can be easily obtained by setting up the indicator in question within an Investor/RT chart, exporting the chart definition (text file) and then using copy/paste insert the preferences string into the plugin source code.
