A thread to discuss developing patterns that strike my imagination and seem to reveal some clues about what is about to occur in the very short term.

Yesterday's price action... a conic formation with a bullish flavor seen on a regular time chart and momentum bar chart with lines pointing up.

The human brain has two very different ways of thinking. One (the right brain) is visual and processes information in an intuitive and simultaneous way, looking first at the whole picture then the details. The other (the left brain) is verbal and processes information in an analytical and sequential way, looking first at the pieces then putting them together to get the whole.

So MP is for the left side of the brain and symbols, patterns are for the right side of the brain. This way every cells in me is happy

Emotion, Decision Making and the Orbitofrontal Cortex

First sentence:
The somatic marker hypothesis provides a systems-level neuroanatomical and cognitive framework for decision making and the influence on it by emotion.

For a moment i thought i was reading a concept from JetTrader.

TIYF,

I am huge fan of trendlines on the ES, and it looks like I take almost the exact same patterns and entries as you. I use volume and the TICK to help me confirm, but it all starts with some sort of trendline or triangle break for me.

Then you must be an astute player

Interesting to note today's price action. Compare it to the chart in post #1 when i created this thread. Same look and feel. What's the probability of such an occurrence ?

*things* can be linked at times. Here the 61.8% Fibonacci level and some Market Profile Generated information such as Value area Low and Volume Point Of Control. As what these *things* are not exclusive. I wanted to find a potential area to go long. Price almost retraced to the 1 minute opening range.
