“This strategic cooperation between KRX and Eurex is very beneficial for both Eurex and KRX customers. With the introduction of Mini Kospi 200 Futures, investors will be able to trade and hedge another Korean product for 24 hours a day.”

Eurex Exchange - Eurex and Korea Exchange deepen cooperation with new Index Futures

Great news but what we need is data feed from mini Kospi Esignal offer only from big Kospi and also history backup. I ask them for adding data feed but havent recieved any response. i thing that they use maybe CQG/Continnum inftrastructure since from KRX they offer only big kospi as a (CQG/Continuum) I ask CQG to add mini kospi 200 futures data feed but they dont plan to offer feed from mini Kospi.

i have Amp,, does anyone know if the K200M Kospy is available from Rithmic (or CQG) via AMP ,, and if so what the data charge is they are charging.. i think i am paying about $10 now,

and also, what does IB charge for the data for the Kospy, and also the Nikkei 225 emini, if anyone knows what the charges are for that..

this is great, day trading the opening in the evening,, life just got better.
( I actually called AMP the other day and ask about getting the Nikkei emini and what symbol i would need, it turned out to be a conversation about like the old " who's on first" comedy act. i said i want to trade foreign markets that open in the evening here in the states,, he said if you want liquidity, you should trade the YM and NQ,,,, i thanked him for his time.)

KRX data is free through IB. Level 1 Osaka data is 200 yen per month I believe, whereas level 2 is 400 yen (if I remember correctly).

I do not believe you can get KRX data through CQG via AMP.

what is the symbol for it on IB ? i have K200 and K200M on TWS, but it is asking for a market data subscription.

Thanks, i dont think Amp offers them thru rithmic or cqg, i could be wrong.
IB has a much larger margin for day trading than Amp charges with rithmic.

are there other markets that "open" for what is the evening on eastern time.
the nikkei ? Tokyo opens at 7pm eastern. just looking for something with an opening in the evening.

i think my brain is a little more lucid in the evening. i am more energetic in the morning. tough to sit still and let the market go by in the morning.

this is interesting, world wide map showing markets open and closed.
Worldwide stock markets map shows the current open closed holiday status and current time for stock exchange- 24 hour format

If you are looking for an instrument that you can trade during the evening hours, you won't find anything comparable to the Nikkei 225 Mini on the Osaka Securities Exchange. Japan doesn't do any "daylight savings", and right now the time for the open is 8PM EST.

can you trade that with the Amp CQG or only IB ? IB has some pretty high margins.
the guy i talked to at Amp couldnt give me a good answer. he kept telling me to trade the YM.. i kept saying no i want to trade in the evening, YM is too thin at that time.

AMP offers it. The margins are almost identical between AMP and IB for the N225M. IB has completely shit data for intraday trading, and in my experience the bars print very inaccurately. AMP offers CQG data for $29/month. It's well worth it if you want to trade this instrument.

No, Amp has Nikkei listed. AMP - [AUTOLINK]contract[/AUTOLINK] specifications AMP Futures

now is it available thru rithmic or cqg?
