As a futures broker you have to be willing to pick up the phone and call all day long and open accounts. You need thick skin, its not an easy job. You will get hung up on, screamed at, sworn at. You have to be able to let it fall off your shoulder like it is nothing and pick up the phone and make the next call. Not everyone can do it. I started my own biz and went door knocking for a month, I have been through my fair share of yelling and people who are just mad at the world... but theres always another door to knock on haha

That's good that you understand that. You will do well in this business with that attitude. If you enjoy what you are doing and are good at it then the money will come and in a few years and you can be drinking your pina coladas on the beach in mexico doing a few trades for yourself here and there while some tight 19 year Mexican chica is rubbing sun tan oil on you and anther one if feeding you grapes. Build your book first though.
