I posted this elsewhere also, but curious to get feedback from you guys also.

It is now 10:00 am CET and for the last 20 minutes or so, there have been literally hundreds of exactly 28 and 36 sized OTC orders running across the X_Trader Pro T&S for the FDAX, but they do not show up in any volume data. Now a single 28 or 36 sized order is very big for the FDAX, but hundreds of them???

What is the point of this? First, I have no way of knowing, whether these are transacted at the bid or at the offer and as I said, they do not show-up in any of the volume indicators, nor, as far as I can tell, do they appear to impact price much.

What is the point of showing these, when they appear, at least to me, to be basically irrelevant?

Indeed, what is the point of having OTC transactions at all on an electronic exchange. What purpose do they serve?
