Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

FTSE - Where will the shorting place be?

This is my first real post except the introduction post ... so bear with me

It seems like the European indexes are going higher like a balloon. The media and the banks are hyping the amateur trader to step back into the market! If you take a look at the FTSE index its a very overbought chart! But the leading chart of Europe the DAX is already trading lower. This might be an indicator that the other European indexes will correct also in the near future!

If you take a look at the ftse chart I can't believe we got a descend pullback since November of last year! This will have a correction in the near future. If we can float higher into the 6500 level I will defiantly take some short position or if we get a nice topping tail I will jump into the short side!

If we can get a short position on the FTSE look for a target at 6230 and 2nd target will be 6090.

What do you guys think of it.
