HELP!!! No more single click in booktrader with IB 906????
i have programming a single click software for the ib booktrader... show video : youtube.com/watch?v=4LQAxwmGceE -- the 2. click is automatic and continues only 0,15 seconds ... it works perfectly. You interest ?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
too bad they had to remove it.
maybe a programmer could manipulate the later tws version to put one click back in tws.
here is an app that can interact with IB TWS.
called TWSstart. i think it mainly works to out maneuver the auto-logoff feature.
there is also a link in bm discussion thread on twsstart.
Old thread, but just found today that IB has reinstated single-click order in booktrader in the latest TWS (926—available only from we-launch right now, stand-alones are still at 925).
I can confirm that the one click order entry is back on booktrader. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now. As I have not used IB for a number of years I had forgotten what a great DOM booktrader is now that single click is back. To be honest, I quite enjoy being back with IB. It seems that many people complain about the stability of TWS as well as futures data from IB. If you do not require tick data than IB is fine. And I have never had any issues with TWS. I would suspect that many of the TWS issues out there have more to do with not knowing how to use the software (IB has terrible instructional videos) or individual computer issues. I have TWS running on its own system with only two charts and booktrader while keeping more charts and a separate data feed on a different system. I also find it necessary to turn off anitvirus software when using TWS otherwise the data delivery really slows down.
Thanks @loonietrader for confirmation.
Wanted to download latest version - but on IB download page they do no longer show the version number.
Very strange - before they were always showing the normal download version (automatic) and the newer
version (manual installation). Maybe they are updating to often?
So I downloaded it - for MacOS it is today version 926.3.
Happy to have booktrader *one-click* back.
Has anyone already tested the latest IB feature "mosaic" which is delivered in this new release of IB TWS?
Seems quite a step forward.
Questions:
- are the charts directly sending order(s) / stop(s)?
- is there a "one click" support as in Booktrader too?
