Just change my default 30 periods look back to your 20, and you would get same results :-)

I figured that out after looking at the code. I ended up disabling the HVC option because I want the low volume bars and also in my latest version I added an audio alert for HVC and I'm also in the process of testing out an idea for a high volume doji pattern.

I set the volume stop volume histogram to be in the same panel as my volume patterns and put the volume stop grey color to transparent so they overlap nicely.

I use VolumeSpike and VolumeStop. pretty good in detecting reversals. I think far better than the ones from Emini-Watch.

for 5 min chart I just put volume patterns and volume stop together, which makes the price bar bigger. I have been using TRO_Buy zone and Tro_hourly buy zone to be a trend indi and S/R, trade with these for a week, no losing day, you can see my two 5 min charts showing last two days. I stop using range chart cause it doesn't give me much entry and exit information, some times I use 618 tick chart. For my 2 min chart, I put MM and SQ9 together.

btw, word on the streets is 5m chart is where everybody should be looking at, HIH.

Cory,

In case you collect volume indicators. Here's a new one I haven't seen yet. Didn't test it, but maybe you find it interesting.

I loaded it to see what it was and it puts the authors website address in the middle of the indicator. The file loads as a dll so if I find it useful, I will have to reverse it and take that out.

Thanks,

I threw it on a chart and I don't see anything useful. How is one supposed to use it?

looks different on my chart. why did you load 2 periods? need to test it first. to be honest doesn't look helpful. just thought was interesting.

I added two cause I had no idea how it works and I was thinking maybe that'd give me a clue.

It didn't.

the reason I put it here is, there're some smart guys in this forum creating great volume indicators. and who knows maybe there's something in the code they can use.

When an indicator is created with a DLL it is usually because the programmer is trying to hide/protect his code. ( ).

In this case, there was not much to hide except the way to keep someone from taking his spam (website link) out of the indicator.

But that said, I love collecting these things...
Continue the search.
