NT Alternative Sound Files for Orders

Small, simple change to NinjaTrader's default order management sounds ("stop filled," "order submitted," etc.).

These sounds have a similar female voice, but with a slightly more realistic overall sound, imo. The audio is just a little bit sped up to still give it that emotionally flat, robotic feel.

Already made these for myself, so it's a zero effort contribution. If you like them, keep them. If you don't, simply restore the original WAV files.

The zip file contains only WAV files and the sounds can be previewed without installation.

Installation: Copy to NinjaTrader sounds directory, by default located at C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 8\sounds

Market Replay CL 12-17 (NT8)

Download instructions:

dowload and unzip file in NT 8 replay folder Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\replay
The file will create a folder with the relevant front month and a series of .nrd files inside (one per day)

Make sure to use the "extract here" function as shown, and not the "Extract to" function, to avoid the creation

of a folder within a folder.

Note: this is Market Replay data for NinjaTrader 8. The format is different from NT7.

Sample - Decimal Place Price Formatter Helper V1.2 NT8b10

The 2 sample indicators here include a simple cut and paste code to enable you to directly format your indicators' price markers (or within market analyzer) directly in your properties configuration. It uses an addon called 'Sim22_PriceFormatter' to calculate this.

As of beta 10 this feature is not yet available, but I have requested it....lets just wait and see

Features:

* Set decimal places from 0 - 7 (including 'SameAsInstrument' setting for your price panel indicators).
* Will not 'round to tick size' for instruments like the ES, but reflect the true value of the indicator instead.
* Works on bond prices if set to 'SameAsInstrument'.

You will find the two indicators within the Indicators>Samples folder.

I will not make other indicators for you so don't ask.... this is a helper to help you do it!

Remember this for beta so let me know of any bugs via pm. Any suggestions too.

Ping Indicator

I've created this indicator, which pings various websites provided by the user at the end of each bar, based on the ConnectionMonitor from MXASJ ( see this thread).

Features
This indicator has the following features:

Ping as much websites as entered by the user,
Display an error to the NinjaTrader Control Center Log tab when an ping fails,
Custom number of milliseconds for the timeout of the ping,
The results of the pings (successful and unsuccessful) can be displayed in the Output Window,
Text box with data from the last pings (time of last pings and roundtrip time in milliseconds for each site),
An configurable text box (opacity, font size, background color, and an on/off setting).

As soon as there is a ping time out, you'll see an spike downwards in the indicator (i.e. there is no milliseconds response time) and a red dot drawn on the indicator panel to highlight the error. Also will the textbox print 'error' besides the website which failed to ping successfully. In that way, you can see if it's just an website which couldn't be contacted or, if all websites give errors, an potential problem with your internet connection.

Any feedback or questions are more than welcome.

Version 1.0 - exported with NinjaTrader version 7.0.1000.2.

Custom Fibonacci Floor Trader Pivots MC.NET 10

Here's a set of Fibonacci pivots built off of the Custom Floor Trader Pivots generously supplied by Japhro.

Fibonacci pivot points start just the same as standard pivot points. From the base pivot point, Fibonacci multiples of the high-low differential are added to form resistance levels and subtracted to form support levels.

WMA and VWMA, Multi-Color Plot Versions

These are simple modifications of the Weighted Moving Average and Volume Weighted Moving Average for NT7 ONLY.

The Ninjatrader versions of these two indicators plot in one color. These versions plot different colors for rising, falling and neutral (NON-repainting).,

The Ninjatrader versions run through iterative loops on every tick. In these versions the loop processing is only done once per bar. So, these can be run with CalculateOnBarClose=false without bringing your computer to a standstill.

Working to kill NT6.5 every chance I get...

Stochastics and Double Stochastics 'Any Input' with colors V1.1 update NT8b11

Important update May 2016:

*Moved input code to State.DataLoaded due to exceptions when used in the market Analyzer.
*Slight improvement in Decimal places formatter

* Use any input such as an indicator, including delta.
* Colored overbought and oversold regions.
* Reversal and 'Poop and Pop' signals.
* Reverse colors option for DStoch.
* Decimal places enum for price markers.
* Gapless option. Only for price series, however you can use a gapless indicator instead as the input.

ABC_Midpoint Study

The Midpoints study tracks the extremes of the day or a custom session between a start and end time. Bases on the high and low extremes, three Midpoints are calculated:

1. daily midpoint = (Session High + Session Low)/2
2. the midpoint between the session extreme high and the daily midpoint
3. the midpoint between the session extreme low and the daily midpoint

The study comes with three color inputs and the plots change their color depending on the value of the bar close compared to the plot value.
Description of Inputs:

UseTime:
False = StartTime and EndTime will have no effect and the High and Low will be tracked for the complete day. If true, High and Low will be tracked according to the StartTime/EndTime settings only.

UpColor:
is used to color the specific plot, if Close > Plot Value
DnColor:
Close < Plot Value
MatchColor:
Close = Plot Value

Round2Tick:
Study will round the MidPoints to the nearest tick if this input is true. If false the study will not round the MidPoints.

The study was not designed to use a session spanning over two calendar days, like an overnight Globex session. In case you use the UseTime input and a StartTime later than the EndTime, you might run into problems. The study would need to be adapted to properly work on overnight sessions.
