NT 8 Market Replay data for CL
Contract: CL 01-20
Download instructions:
dowload and unzip file in NT 8 replay folder Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\replay
The file will create a folder with the relevant front month and a series of .nrd files inside (one per day)
Make sure to use the "extract here" function as shown, and not the "Extract to" function, to avoid the creation of a folder within a folder.
Note: the archive contains only the dates with the most volume for this contract, meaning, this is data relevant only to when the contract becomes the front month.

This is the same indicator as found in the NT 7 downloads, but in NT 6.5 Zip format. For the NT 7 download go to this link.
Version 7.1
This is one of my favorite indicators. We call it the 'Double Diesel'. It is two double stochastic zero lags running on the same indicator. When both lines cross through the high or low bars (selectable values) the background floods. When only one passes through, the background floods blue.
One of our favorite features with this indicator is when the fast DSZL moves down/up and back while the slow DSZL does not. This is a sure signal of a pull back. We call it the 'Jersey Pullback'. You can see one on the attached screenshot at 10:19.
Version 7.2
I got so many nice compliments on this indicator and it seems to be very popular, so I enhanced it and made it NT6.5 compatible. I put the NT6.5 version here.
This update allows the user to select the back ground colors and intensities for up or down movements.

To follow up with my recent post and question, this is the indicator I'd like to clean up. All the text makes it look too cluttered. I just want to outline the candle pattern chosen and get rid of the text (or make it alterable). This file was native to NT7 so there is no zip, just a .cs. Rather than zip it I'm thinking attaching the .cs is ok.

For those of you who follow Dr. Van Tharp, you will know that he does a monthly market update with a spreadsheet of multiple ETF and the corresponding SQN values. I wanted to create something similar but with multiple SQN values so I can track shorter and longer term trends.
When you run this strategy, it will output an Excel Spreadsheet to the directory you specify in the parameters.
There are multiple requirements to run this strategy. This makes use of Microsoft's Interop functionality to generate an Excel spreadsheet. Therefore you MUST have Microsoft Interop installed and add a reference to the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excell.dll in NinjaTrader. You can learn more about how to do this here. And a big thank you to DionysusToast for his contribution.
You will also need to add the list of ETFs used by this Strategy to NinjaTrader's Instrument List. You can import the instruments by downloading the 2 text files found in the following links, and importing them into NinjaTrader. Be sure to import that into the correct Exchange as stated in the text file title.
You can find out about importing Instruments via a text file here
Once the instruments are installed, import the NinjaTrader zip file. You can find a YouTube video on how to do that here.
To run the strategy, go to the Strategy Analyzer and make sure the Time Frame you choose has a minimum of 1 year of data. Select the directory you want the file printed to, and then run the strategy. Once done, go to the directory and you will have an Excel Spreadsheet file waiting for you.

Congestion Counts help measure how many consecutive bars overlap each other. High counts can be a clue that the market is very range bound and building energy. There are two types of congestion counts to consider, the group method seemingly more useful. This was originally downloaded from here, which is sometimes a very slow link.
