New to the forum. Everything I click on to investigate appears to require an "Elite Membership." Would be nice to get a feel for the quality of the material here before being required to pay. Am I overlooking something?

Need help? 1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first. 2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses. 3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make. 4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance. 5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers. 6) Help using the forum? Watch this video to learn general tips on using the site.

The awesomeness of people sharing such quality discussions is priceless.
Money well spent and helps Mike maintain this site....he reads each thread and helps where high technical expertise is required.

When I first started using NinjaTrader I was not very impressed. I did not find the NinjaTrader support forum very helpful....they refer you to others if you need programming assistance, etc., then I came across Big Mike's Trading Forum. Don't get me wrong, there are some members there (who are also here) who post over there and are helpful, but (this is just my opinion), the members here at Big Mike Trading Form forum are MUCH more helpful.
I am amazed at the quick responses I have received from the members and mods here at Big Mike Trading. There is a TON of information here, and there are several members who freely post, which I have found extremely helpful and encouraging.
I decided to become an Elite member and I have absolutely no regrets....except that I have not been able to share/reciprocate as much as I would like. Honestly, every time I think I have something "new" to share, I do a search....and it is already here!! The membership is very affordable and from my personal experience, the VALUE you receive is definitely worth much more than you will invest in the cost of your membership.
Is there something preventing Mike from having paid sponsors? Does anyone really care? Given the choice between paying and not paying to put up with seeing sponsor links (which most of us would ignore anyway) that generate money for Mike, I prefer the latter.
Let Mike make as much money as he can from paid sponsors and make the content free. That's the business model that has the most success on the Net.
