I don't know if @tr8d3r is using the light theme, but there are aspects of the light theme that are almost unreadable because the font color is a light blue on a bright background, providing very little contrast. For example: Bob.

I agree it's not sufficiently legible. But I think it's a combination of size and color. Will see what changes with tonights update.

The window for typing a reply to thread is very small. In the old theme, you could use most of the width of the page. This is the size now:

The old layout is being deprecated, so I welcome your constructive criticism of the new layout choices -- as that is what we will be using.

No more overview - I feel lost. After a while scrolling I can see 2 parts from the forum... and then I have to scroll more and more... Sorry, but the old start page was perfect for all the different parts of the forum. So it is really bad... Sorry for saying this. Best regards, Renkotrader

Help me understand. You are calling 'overview' the list of all forums and subforums? That is still there, just in a more modernized UI made to function on desktop and mobile.

Give me actional feedback please, so if you are saying there is too much empty space, or header is too large, something like that I can work with.

Live topic has white font color on the dark theme. live topic @Renkotrader The link to this thread, printed in bold and caps, was sitting at the top of Chatbox for the last three weeks. I agree that the new design is a bit bloated (lots of padding), but the readability I find is multiple times better compared to the old design, in both light/dark theme.

OK, that will be added to list (colors).

As for padding, good observation. I will discuss with UX designer if we can pad less on desktop where touch is not in-use, maybe that will help those feeling it too bulky.

For short usernames, the date at the top of a topic gets to be printed on two lines instead of one. Shortening September to Sep would probably solve it.

From my thread this morning: In the light version... sorry - need first to adapt to the new layout: trying to make my text readable... well: title size 5, body size 4 here all my previous posts before this one are now very difficult to read: title is smaller than bold text in the body. Flaws: • Thanks @ the bottom are no longer to see: white on white... • To much font sizes: the default should be readable • the text boxes are to lofty - takes much place in the screen window • change from light to dark and back ugly...

Just my observations and others have other observations: "Light Theme": Flaws - Thanks @ the bottom are very bad visible. - Membership status, especial from "Elite Members", very bad visible. - "Light blue" font on white background is quit stress for the eyes. - In general, the colors, as well as the chosen red and green are drastic on the white background. - In general: The whole design is way too colorful and bright with the whole layout. If you just open the link to the forum, you have to "scroll and scroll" to get to the new "postings". "Dark Theme" Absolute not my style, as I never use "Dark Theme" any where. But as told: This are just my observations and others may have other ideas. Symple

the old site was compact, and I had seen now, that you changed its back (screenhsot).

The top of the site you can organize a bit better, so that there is no empty space (screenshot).

On the main page, there are large categories, such as "Trading Reviews and Vendors", "Traders Hideout", etc, which correspond to the main categories (subforums) within the forum. Unfortunately, these don't drill down deeply enough to get to the thread level, so many of these, such as "Trading Journals", are empty. The windows that are not empty simply have only the next heading down (Trading Reviews and Vendors has a link for "Brokers", but nothing else.) You would expect a list of journals under Trade Journals, for instance. Also, the size of these main windows varies. Trading Journals has lots of (blank) space, but Psychology and Money Management has very little. Bob.

Agreed, and I have raised it with UX guy. Reworking that will take a couple of days at least.
