It is with deep sadness that I give you news of David’s passing early this morning, December 17, 2020.
David had endured a nearly six week hospitalization and had overcome a difficult surgery and many setbacks along the way. He was finally stabilizing and plans were being made for his discharge home. My daughter and I had a wonderful visit with him yesterday and were grateful that he would soon be home with us. We were stunned to receive the call from a doctor at 4:30 a.m. that he had died from an unexpected bleed in his airway.
Reading the markets was David’s passion and he took great pleasure in sharing his thoughts with you. We miss him desperately. Life will never be the same.
Most sincerely,
Karen Weis

My sincere condolences as well. I just got one of his books yesterday, by sheer coincidence (Trades About to Happen), which I plan to read very soon. Was he active here, or just a webinar guest?
I read his daily market posting every night. A true lover of the markets. And over the years some of his calls for serious moves based on classic Wyckoff methods were spot on. I will miss those insights. Blessing to his family through this loss.

I considered David, Tom Williams and Dr. Gary Dayton my virtual mentors... David and Tom already gone, now only Dr. Gary left.
It is a pity that we will never be able to read the book he was working on... I know he was working on a new book for a couple of years now. Don´t know if his family is aware of it, if the book was almost finished, I hope they end up publishing it.

Sad that he is gone. I believe I met him a few times at the Money shows. He was always positive, but negative on the market. He always thought the market was about to tank. And a had list of companies to avoid.
He was definite correct on some Banks and Thrifts. I was thinking of putting my money into one, and did not and it went under. So, He saved me some money
