After a frustrating day today of having a plan going into the morning only to see myself break it during the day, I've decided to write my first public trading journal. That last sentence might make it sound as if I'm a newbie to this game, but …
I post my preparation analysis before opening and my trades with comments when I’m done for the day. At the end of each month I post a summary with results and statitics. I try to be as transparent as possible and feedback is appreciated. After 5 month of discretionary sim-trading I belive that I have reached the break even level. Next step is to get profitable enough to pass the Top Step Trader Combine. So please support me with a 'Thanks' to this post.
My Method
I trade the ES 5 min chart for the first 2,5 hours of the RTH session.
Intraday swing trading, meaning that the reward to risk ratio >=2.0
I'm entering the contest with my personal journal. My trading style is short term, price action and emotional pattern based.
