What are these Quick Summary posts?

Could someone explain the purpose of these Quick Summary auto-replies? They talk about adding a quick summary by using the button in the bottom right of them, but II see no button in the bottom right of these posts. Is the OP supposed to add a quick summary or are they for other people?
