There doesn't seem to be a subforum on the forum itself, and I did not receive a reply to my PM to the forum owner, so I'm posting my question here now.

I created a thread and received a response "Please keep us informed". But I can't keep anyone informed as my thread was moved to a different subforum (from Forex and Currency Trading to Brokers and Data Feeds) to which I cannot post now because I have not posted enough!

I have new information relevant to this topic; how am I supposed to post it?

Hi,

We keep things organized here. Your thread was about data feeds, so it was moved to the brokers and data feed section. This is one of two sections (out of dozens) on the forum that require 10 posts to be able to post in. The message you received clearly explained this. This limit exists because of abuse.

It also explained we do this for a reason, and not to circumvent the rules.

Mike

I'm not trying to circumvent "rules". I'd just like to be able to continue with the thread I created and to which someone has replied to keep it updated with new information. FXCM has since been in touch with me because of the post and it would be good to be able to do that. Since I have already solved this problem for myself (by writing a script which corrects the offset - but I can't report this either or offer it to others) the purpose of the thread is now to provide helpful information to others, and I am being prevented from doing that.

Hi Noetus,

You can send me a copy of that solution, either via private message or email at [email protected]

Thanks,
Jason
