At futures io, our focus is on quality education. No hype, gimmicks, or secret sauce. The truth is: trading is hard. To succeed, you need to surround yourself with the right support system, educational content, and trading mentors – all of which you can find on futures io, utilizing our social trading environment.

With futures io, you can find honest trading reviews on brokers, trading rooms, indicator packages, trading strategies, and much more. Our trading review process is highly moderated to ensure that only genuine users are allowed, so you don’t need to worry about fake reviews.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading sites:
  • We are here to help. Just let us know what you need.
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive in our community.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendors advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, we can help you find it.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

I have updated our Webinars page

https://futures.io/webinars/

And replaced all YouTube links so they go to our new channel. I've looked over this for a while to ensure I didn't make errors, but because there were so many URL's I did automate this using multiple scripts, so please let me know if you find a problem.

On a semi-related note, the non-YouTube webinars have "Flowplayer" watermarked into them due to the license being for our old domain name. I'll look into this, but it will be solved soon anyway when we move to the new framework and new HTML5 player.

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

I've just globally updated all posts that had embedded YouTube videos pointing to our old channel, so the video now points to the new channel.

This was a massive undertaking involving lots of scripts, scrapers, mysql queries, and about 40 hours of my life re-populating our channel.

I've done spot checks the best I could with limited time -- seeing how the last part of replacing post text was automated, please report any problems.

Basically, if you run across a YouTube video on the site that is linking to our old BMT channel, please report it.

@jmont1 alerted me to a problem with BrightCloud's "web root" product classifying futures.io as "suspicious".

I looked into it, this is because the domain is brand new.

I need you guys to fill out this form:
URL Reputation Change Request | Webroot BrightCloud

Change to "81-100" and enter your email address, product = webroot, and for notes just say that we are a reputable site that just changed their name from bigmiketrading.com after 6 years.

It needs several submissions to take effect.

Thank you.

Mike

Done.

I can't remember where the BMT 5 thread is, but I presume you are aware that 'old' new Beta site is now giving cert fails or privacy warnings:

Please register on futures.io to view futures trading content such as post attachment(s), image(s), and screenshot(s).

That URL is wrong, the certificate is for futures.io.

Here is the thread:

https://futures.io/feedback-announcements/30432-futures-io-new-framework.html

As mentioned in that thread, the beta site is in limbo waiting for IPB 4.1 which is due out shortly, and then testing will resume.

@Big Mike, I assume the change was already made by the time the above mail was responded to. The site now shows up as "Reputation: Low Risk" with a green check mark. So we are good!

Here is my email response from BrightCloud:

Obviously, I use this site every day and gave a lot of feedback for the Beta when that was active. I was only concerned that occasional surfers getting that message rather than it being simply reported offline or in construction would just add more fodder to the army of loonies that still show up at the top of Big Mike Google searches.
