Not sure where to post this, but I just learned that Charles Booth, aka CJ Booth died on February 18, 2015 at age 61. I realize there was some controversy over Charles but he was very kind to me and helpful as well. Perhaps this notice could be placed in the appropriate area or forum.
Thanks for responding Mike. Sorry to hear about That Man From Texas. I enjoyed his sense of humor and outlook on trading. futures.io (formerly BMT) is a real family, eh? We can argue, joke, even display our ignorance (speaking personally here) and still there are members who share their experiences and wisdom.
Saddened by the news although i did not know him personnaly. I still remember when he came here out of nowhere to teach us all about his methodology. Very cool system. Condolences to his family. Thanks to jwhtrades for the note about it.
Sad to hear. Charles was a interesting character to get along with.
I followed his method on futures.io (formerly BMT) years ago and appreciated all the hours and input he had for people trying to learn his method. I followed his new method (12-18 months ago) but had recently dropped off.
He conducted a good trading room that was informative and friendly.
He will be missed
Most notable memory - Picture of Charles holding futures.io (formerly BMT) IPAD prize with piece of paper stating "futures.io (formerly BMT) ROCKS"
