It was brought to my attention you only made one post for the entire month of July. It seems you've won based on popularity, and not based on merit. I also think you didn't follow my rules, but then again I also said I would let the members interpret the rules by casting their votes.
Still, it seems wrong that someone who made no effort during the contest month should win the contest.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
You've been a good member over the years, I am specifically talking about the contest itself and nothing more.
Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.
Need help? 1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first. 2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses. 3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make. 4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance. 5) Where to start as a trader? lol......Why in the world would you say this @iqgod?? ...lol....The point as I see it was to help foster a paramount habit in this business. Namely keep track/journaling of ones trades creating a place/source of data one can learn from regarding yourself with the huge added benefit of it being here at futures.io (formerly BMT) so your peers can offer insights, guidance, encouragement and a dose of reality if need be. So here is some reality...do the honorable thing and apologize to @Big Mike and futures.io (formerly BMT) in general and turn down any prize. One post for July is clearly not journaling in July. Actually you only made one post total in July.
I'm sure others are deserving of this. I am not that. I just wanted to say this formally.
Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will. Perfect: the enemy of Done. per∑fec∑tion∑ist: ultimately one lacking self-confidence
Buy Low And Sell High (read left to right or right to left....lol)

Considering that I've been maintaining a paper journal for all of July, and also considering that someone voted for me here is what I think will be most appropriate:
1. Scan my trading journal notebook and post it within the next two days. I will not be lacking merit.
2. I had taken lot of efforts on my journal in last year's journaling contest and missed the prize by one vote. This prize seemed a validation of my efforts taken during that journaling contest, hence my acceptance of it.
Also, the reason I was not able to login and post was because I was by my father's bedside. I could barely find time to trade and scribble in my notebook. I had also had a TopstepTrader combine which was due to be started on 7th July but I requested them to not start it stating my family situation. Let me set this right to keep the faith of those who voted for me. I don't know who they are and why they voted for me but I must not let their democratic decision be deemed unworthy of consideration.
I love you all, those who wake up to trade and fight back every single day - even those who criticize / may criticize - let me prove whether I am worthy of the prize... or not.
I would request @Big Mike to return within two days and review the posts. If they are deemed unworthy then he may award the prize to the next in line. Otherwise my decision stands, and I am postponing accepting the prize till then. In my heart of hearts I know myself to be truthful and sincere, and based on that solid foundation my inner voice says this is the correct way for me.
My laptop had been rebooting constantly since Friday and over the weekend I had given it to the store for a quick check. They had found a trojan was causing this and have deleted my user profile. So I do not have the My Pictures folder which had my charts with entries and exits, just my scanned notebook would be incomplete without these.
I had enthusiastically registered for the $ 150,000 continuous combine and was looking forward to beginning it on July 07, however I have had some bad news delivered to me just now.
Iíve been informed that my dad has .................. Iím afraid that Iíve been rather hard hit by the news mentally and at this point taking a combine doesnít make sense to me, and considering that huge expenses anticipated I request you to consider my case and initiate a refund of the money I paid.
Iíve been a loyal customer for more than three years now and I do hope I will be able to enroll again in less difficult times.
