The community is one of the friendliest you will find on any subject, with members going out of their way to help others. Some of the primary differences between futures io and other trading sites revolve around the standards of our community. Those standards include a code of conduct for our members, as well as extremely high standards that govern which partners we do business with, and which products or services we recommend to our members.

At futures io, our focus is on quality education. No hype, gimmicks, or secret sauce. The truth is: trading is hard. To succeed, you need to surround yourself with the right support system, educational content, and trading mentors – all of which you can find on futures io, utilizing our social trading environment.

With futures io, you can find honest trading reviews on brokers, trading rooms, indicator packages, trading strategies, and much more. Our trading review process is highly moderated to ensure that only genuine users are allowed, so you don’t need to worry about fake reviews.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading sites:
  • We are here to help. Just let us know what you need.
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive in our community.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendors advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, we can help you find it.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community.  It's free and simple.

How do I post my journal link?

@Scottybro, the image you posted is not a clickable link.

Here's how to do it:

1. In your journal, copy your journal web address (URL) to your clipboard (click to highlight in the address line of your browser, press Ctrl C)

2. Go back to the thread you want to put the link in, open a new Reply window, and click on the Insert Link icon:

Please register on to view futures trading content such as post attachment(s), image(s), and screenshot(s).

3. Paste the URL into the box that pops up (press Ctrl V). Hit OK.

That'll do it.

My longtime journal and a newer one

The first journal (DAX futures) is here on (formerly BMT) for more than 3,5 consecutive years.
It is only one trade per day - and some days skipped:

The second one is another pattern day trade journal on the Dax future
with quite some amazing results:
This one has 7 months of trades...

BOTH journals are announcing the trades normally before taking - and have a DISTINCT exit TIME.
So everyone can see how a trade develops.

Happy reading!

Please find my journal here.

My journal will include a daily summary of trades on my live account and also a daily video where I explain the setups that I have taken. Everything will be shown winners and losers. I am very much looking forward to sharing my journal with you.

I haven't posted on the site for a while and it is great to be back again!!

Signal Bar Trading Journal Link

My journal uses a tally mark system to track executed and passed opportunities that where either part of the plan or not.

This journal helps me evaluate how much I "trust" my plan. It helps me to turn the "shoulda, woulda, coulda" into If I could I would.

It highlights how my behavior is acting on the opportunity, or whimping out.

It measures how well may executed trades are performing, and how often I trade setups outside of my plan.

My plan requires, Good market structure, good trade location, and risk management. Additionally, there are three questions that I ask:

Does the trade meet the aforementioned qualities?
Is there an identifiable trend?
Is there a tell?

The matrix has been can be found at the link above.

The journal is only updated to result the outcome of an opportunity that presented itself and was either acted upon or passed up.

Market Open and News Event Price Action Scalping in NQ/CL

I'm in, but don't know if I'll be able to keep this up. It is a lot of work! Plus I plan on taking vacations this month. Oh well, I wanted to start a journal anyway and hopefully someone will find mine useful. Thanks for reading!

Please watch my real time video capture of my trading CL today. It was a picture perfect trade for me. I'll try posting other videos but I doubt that I will be able to give much commentary on them. It takes me too long.

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
