I will be on vacation for most of November, but I wanted to setup a new charity drive to run while I was gone. That is why this post is a bit early compared to our normal holiday charity drive.
There will be four options for this charity drive, as below:
Habitat for Humanity ( website)
Feeding America ( website)
Make-a-Wish Foundation ( website)
International Red Cross ( website)
In order to encourage you to donate, any new Elite Membership purchased in November will go to charity --- up to a maximum of $3,000 (30 memberships). I will cap it at $3,000 as that's roughly what our last charity fundraiser raised in May 2014. I've done it this way because it will be running while I am on vacation and I can't actively manage it. Setting a cap of $3,000 was the best alternative.
If you've been waiting to sign-up as an Elite Member, now you have an even better excuse to not wait any longer. Please note: futures.io (formerly BMT) Elite Membership is not tax deductible.
IMPORTANT: After you sign-up to be an Elite Member (November), please come to this thread and post a message telling me which charity you want your membership fee to be donated to.
If you are an existing Elite Member and you would like to participate, please make your donation directly to one of the charities above, and then feel free to post in this thread to encourage others to do so as well. Peer pressure is a good thing in this case. I'd like to see how much over the $3,000 we can raise with your help.
When I return from my vacation at the end of November, I'll tally everything up and post a summary, make the donations to the charities, etc. It will be the last week of November.

The charity drive begins November 1st. I posted notice today on the forum so that if someone wants to wait until Nov 1 to sign-up, they have that choice.
An email blast about this fundraiser was also sent out today. If you did not receive it then go to UserCP - Edit Options and check to ensure you've enabled receiving email announcements from us. Also check your spam filters, and please mark us as "not spam". You can always unsubscribe by clicking the link in any of our emails.
