BMT Memorial Day Suicide Prevention Fundraiser 2014
Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far or signed up as a new Elite Member.
I still see a lot of non-Elite members, I would like feedback so I can improve future fundraisers -- are you not signing up because you don't agree with this fundraiser, or because you don't have the $100 to spend?
When I've donated Elite Memberships in the past we had much better turn out/response, so I'm looking for advice as to why.
Thank you for reminding us of the importance of remembering the sacrifices others have made for us. As they say, freedom ain't free.

Thanks for doing the fundraiser and Happy Memorial Day! I just signed up for Elite membership (after a month of browsing the boards). I'm not sure why others haven't signed up to be elite yet, but maybe it is because there is so much information to digest. Signing up for elite might also represent the first material commitment a newbie makes towards becoming a trader...at least it is for me. So it's less about the $100 and more about a promise to self (at least it is for me). Thanks for providing such a great resource.

From a marketing perspective, I think you hit us on this last-minute deal on short notice, while most Americans are on their long, holiday weekend. Maybe next year, you can alert everyone of the upcoming special when non-elite members are still around.

Another alternative would be to extend the special past Monday and until 1 June, 2014.
