Mike
I'd have rather donated to the Wounded Warriors but they didn't take Paypal. Glad to have given to DAV.

Thanks for doing this.

Mike,

I donated to all three supporting agencies. Thank you for setting this up as I would not otherwise thought to give to supporting the American freedoms we have all come to take for granted.

Hello Mike

Please forward my Elite membership fees to Wounded Warriers. I am not a US citizen but know that the issues you are addressing with this charity drive extend way past any borders.

Cheers
MA

This really is an excellent idea and I'm glad this is my first post.

Please donate mine to the USO - Until Everyone Comes Home.

Not to get off topic but it is odd to me that people who leave the US to live somewhere else are called expats or ex patriots.

It kind of sounds like they have joined the enemy or something.

It's a minor spelling difference: expatriate not ex-patriot.

To expatriate (and so "an expatriate") can mean to give up allegiance to one's country but in most modern usage it simply refers to residency. Not to be confused with exile or renegade.
2. to withdraw (oneself) from residence in one's native country.
You can discover what your enemy fears most by observing the means he uses to frighten you.

Hi Mike, great idea and thanks for donating to this cause, I'm really shocked by the stats you quoted--that's really sad. I would like my money to go to the Wounded Warrior Project. Thanks!

Thanks for clearing up my ignorance. Especially since I will be an expat soon.
