Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

If I click on any of the upcoming events webinar's they all lead to this thread.

I'll fix that, they should lead to the Upcoming Webinars master thread until each event agenda is finalized, then they will lead to the respective thread for each event.

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

Unfortunately, it isn't much surprise to learn the FIO new beta is further behind schedule. I tried and tried to push the developer to finish ahead of the holidays, but he did not. So, I still haven't even made another conversion test because I'm still lacking a couple of big pieces of custom work that need to be finished so we can have a proper test.

I am hoping early January...

Mike

Just curious of any up coming test timetable ....?

It's waiting on me at this moment, I believe I have what I need from the developer for the next test. Unfortunately, my work schedule isn't what it used to be, and I'm also about to move again, so free time isn't abundant.

Just a note that the developer is still working in the background on all the new code we needed for this new framework and conversion. While I haven't spent time on it personally, I intend to just as soon as I can set aside some time.

But the list of development features that were required for the migration is getting taken care of at least.

Trades, hHow about exchanging our homes, for our vacations?

Hi everyone,
I would like to make a suggestion to elite forum users regarding one further possibilty to meet and/or exchange trading opinions and know how.
Sometime ago I joined (@ around 50$/yr) a home/exchange web site. Its url is Home For Exchange | Home Exchange | House Swap | HomeForExchange. There are a few other web site of this kind, some of them also much larger, this one has been founded and it is currently run by a Dutch lady, and it is the one I preferred as it is more focused on EU countries and also becasue I lived and worked in Holland for a while and in my experience I would say that most Ducth ladies like doing things very very precisely.
Subscribing this homeforexchange website has been a very good experience, allowing me and my family to travel quite comfortably. As a matter of fact it is very nice to arrive anywhere and jut immediately finding the keys of a house ready to live in, where the very same day you can cook your pasta and have a nice family dinner at the table. Additionally it has been a very cost effective method, and also a safe one, since for a small additional annual fee I could also sign an insurance coverage on the rent contract offered as a premium service by the web site.
As after all our village is not so large, maybe setting up of something similar as an option for elite members of futures.io could be a new opportunity to meet traders and exchange opinions, ect.. . It could be done either by our own, or leaning of a site like the one I mentioned above.
If there will be some positive feedback and if the forum administrator do not mind I could try to contact the owner of the homeforexchange website and see if she can offer us some kind of special support/deal.
Best to everyone.
guidoisot.

@Big Mike I am wondering, please, if the new site will have any functionality with OneNote as far as posting from it somehow in anyway? Thanks

Ron
