Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Version 45.0.2454.93 m. Looks like just a slightly later one than you. Chrome says it's up to date.

I never saw the play button before today, either.

Bob.

I'll restart Chrome later today and take a look. In mean time, anyone else seeing this? I knew Chrome was going to pause Flash (announcement a few weeks ago), but I thought it was only on stuff that wasn't shown on the page (off screen) so it shouldn't apply when you are viewing it.

Mike

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
6)

The beta site is down for now.

What @bobwest reported was on the live futures.io (formerly BMT) site.

What version of Chrome are you running? I'm on 45.0.2454.85 m and don't any problem, also don't see the play button.

Mike

It seems .93 is when it rolled out, if you update and restart it will probably kick in. I am in the process of converting everything to HTML5. This really isn't anything to do with futures.io (formerly BMT) v5 but thanks @bobwest for reporting it.

It seems that Flash is on the way out, and HTML5 is on the way in. About time, I think.

Sorry about putting this in the futures.io (formerly BMT) v5 thread, but I'm just used to using it for bug reporting, so it's what I reached for.

Mainly, I'm glad we know what's going on, and that there's a fix.

Bob.

Definitely true. I tried going all HTML5 last year or two years ago and ran into problems, I think we can get it resolved now
