Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

I'm having a hard time imagining what you mean by combining the candlesticks with the arrow. Can you post a sketch to give me an idea?
..

I have no problem to see and follow your way creating the new futures.io (formerly BMT) logo.
As this forum is mostly bound to trading and not to create stuff for web and print
I will try to step back right now and let the things play out.
If any time you like to get some insights in font development you can pm me.

I've run out of ideas for the time being.. not going to force it, so I'll be back if anything comes to me or anyone suggests something interesting.

That's something I've thought of doing, but I can't make it work.. any idea how you think it should look in general?

lol this is very rough but something like this where you take the verticals of the letters. Somehow the candles need their own unique position and shape so they don't just look like rectangular boxes. (I doubt mike would like the bmt in renko lol)

And then if you want to put the cherry on top make the first letter B a double distribution volume profile.

I can't tell if this looks absolutely horrible or somewhat decent.

It is also nice to see that the 4.0 will include a native Q&A forum feature, which could be quite useful for the community Article

IPS posted about the new Profiles features today.

Mike

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
6)
