Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

I got the same error as @tturner86 and @madLyfe both when I went into the thread and clicked "Last page," and when I clicked on the link you gave.

Bob.

What about: https://beta.bigmiketrading.com/topic/1148-big-mikes-day-trading-method-and-advice/?do=findComment&comment=499985

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

What is the actual last post you can see in that thread? It should be Sunday Aug 2 2:35pm "TheTradeSlinger".

What about this URL, does it work?

Interesting. I'll add it to the list, will have to ask IPB what the deal is.

Now that all the background tasks have completed, the performance of the site should be "normal".

Can you guys give impressions on the performance of the new site vs the current site? The speed of navigation, loading forums, threads, changing pages, etc.

Futures Edge on FIO

Are you a NinjaTrader user?

Mike, when I use this link it takes me here:

Please register on futures.io to view futures trading content such as post attachment(s), image(s), and screenshot(s).

The controls at the bottom (page 67, Next, and Last page) all give the error. Apparently they are pointing to a page that does not exist, beyond the actual last page.

Bob.

Site/Pages loads within a sec or two for me. Very similar or faster then current site.

That is the last post on page 66. It appears 67 is a ghost page.

Bob.

For me, that TradeSlinger post is actually on page 67, post #5 of that page.

The difference is likely something to do with deleted message notices. On the current futures.io (formerly BMT), everyone can see all deleted message notices (nothing is hidden). I am guessing that the new site is not showing you some deleted message notices, thereby changing your total post count.

Still, it should not produce the error you are seeing. Once IPB fixes the ACP bug preventing me from editing the usergroup, I'll try to make a change there as well. I've also already reported this 'page 67' bug to them, but won't hear back until Monday even with priority support.

I notice some images in posts are appearing as thumbnails instead of full size, for example:

https://beta.bigmiketrading.com/topic/10095-es-sp500-spoo-nalysis/?do=findComment&comment=500012

I'll try making some changes to fix this and rebuild the thumbnail cache later today.

Performance seems pretty crisp to me, about like the current site.
