Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Invision posted some new info on 4.0 today for those inclined to read it:

4.0 - Follow System - Invision Power Services

4.0 - IP.Downloads Submission - Invision Power Services

4.0 - Recurring calendar events - Invision Power Services

4.0 - Comments and Reviews - Invision Power Services

4.0 - Staff Directory - Invision Power Services

All of this indicates they are closer to release, which is good news for futures.io (formerly BMT).

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
6)

As IP. Suite owner myself I can only applaud your decision, besides the obvious UI advantages for us it will also be a big improvement for you on the backend

Would it be possible to include a "Select All" button to the code boxes in threads once the switch to the new forum software is done? This is not really of importance, but this would be nice to have in case it's easily doable.

Regards,
ABCTG

IPB has said that 4.0 will be released by end of Q2. So depending on how productive I can be at that point with my makeshift office setup (while waiting for my container), I'll look to start not longer after that.

not a fan of code window as you have to slide back and forth, scroll up and and down in order to see the rest of the code.
But to select all you can click reply first then just cut and paste the part you interest in.

I'm probably being presumptuous here, but I'd like to offer to update the futures.io (formerly BMT) logo. Unfortunately I don't have any "traditional" credentials, but when I was in the Army one of my intel "products" (a powerpoint presentation) was so well received it was sent to the President (George W at the time - no joke). I also designed a monument for fallen Soldiers that is now in place in at the base in Dal Molin, Italy.

If you want to send me requirements I'd be happy to give it a shot, just let me know.

A new theme/visual style will be part of the new deployment. Anyone can feel free to post or send me mock-ups of anything they wish that shows something they think is better.
