Indeed best 50$ I spent.
For the local IFTA group fee in Germany i have to pay about 120€ per month.
Being active in that group I see that the content presented there is not as valuable
as I can see on Big Mike`s forum entries.
There are some users, which maybe produce really high quality thoughts and have contributed a lot
to the quality of the forum.
And the great webinars and in my opinion make futures.io (formerly BMT) invaluable.
But I would maybe be able to pay only a fee of 50$ to 200$ per year.
And I think it is good idea to have the option to choose to be a free member or an elite member.
Because the questions and ideas coming in by new traders enrich the forum, too. But those maybe cannot
afford to pay high prices. On the other hand a high price would make futures.io (formerly BMT) to look similar to a trading advisory service.
And those have in my eyes no good reputation.
Therefore I think the fee pricing decision is completly right to increase it for lifetime membership to 100$ one time fee.
It is a perfect match to represent the forum spirit.
For anyone who is serious about trading, $100 Lifetime fee is way too cheap.
Consider in the future making it a yearly fee. I say that because there is very valuable content (from webinars, members input, and your support) created every year .... heck every day for that matter !!
Thanks Again for this forum.. as many have said before, I wish I had found it earlier !!
I assume you mean the fee for new elite members will be $100. As much as I agree that this site is great and applaud your work sincerely, one can not charge a one time $50 fee and them come back and charge an additional $50. That just does not seem right. What does "one time fee" mean?
However I will add that because I do value this site, my view is not fixed in stone. Especially if running the site has become burdensome in a financial way for you. But in general I oppose changing an agreed upon price for prior members.

I read the notice to fast. I now see that it is only for new elite members. But I still do hope it is not becoming a burden.
Not much more I can add, the knowledge on this forum and the members willingness to share it is worth many, many multiples of $50 or $100.
If you can't learn 100 different things on this forum that improve your trading significantly then you deserve to donate your account balance to someone else.
Thanks again Big Mike as I seem to remember you sending me an email about this and I joined for life. Your site has been a great source of support and information in my trading career.
My 2cents on Membership Fees: When I join an organization that has membership I pay for a lifetime membership whenever possible and when they have a reasonable fee structure. I consider anywhere between a three to ten times annual membership fee to be fair for lifetime membership.
For an annual Elite membership fee something like $25 to $30 may be considered a reasonable fee. After a year a person could either keep paying yearly which keeps and income stream going, or pay for whatever the lifetime membership is at the time.
This is all suggested not having the slightest idea of the amount of work involved running such a GREAT SITE.
