Today I got a error message from Firefox - being on fio page - telling me that a twitter.com script is not
working anymore - had to "stop" or "debug" it

After stopping the script Firefox behavior was again back to normal.
Did anyone have the same error messages?

GFIs1

I don't recall script-type errors on FIO - but then again I use NoScript which blocks most things for security. If your FireFox is behaving erratically may I suggest posting in the Tech Support section - there may be ways to sort it out.

What version of Firefox are you guys using? Can you give me some basic instructions to duplicate the issue, so I can test on my side?

Mike

54.0.1

Just compare clicking the front page futures.io logo in Firefox and Chrome, I get a jumpy blocky sort of double refresh in Firefox that doesn't happen in Chrome. It's pretty obvious when it's happening, particularly on the black background. FF is now worse on other sites as well, although futures.io seems more affected because of the strength of the black background area. Happens on startup and New Post/Today's Posts clicks too.

If there's anything you can suggest to try resetting I'm all ears, as they seem to be removing easy access to do that now or I'm getting thicker (well known.)

Cheers

First two refreshes are in Chrome, second two are in Firefox. Recorded in Bandicam, it has no material effect on the display in this case. This on a laptop, I see the same on two other desktops.

It is not uncommon to find articles posted by mistake in the Wiki/Articles section.

But there does not seem to be a way to flag them up or report them so that they can be moved, if they are legit, or removed, if they are spam.

What's the best way to let either Sam or Mike know about these?

Thanks, we usually found them quickly (and a wrong wiki entries are rare).

The 'New Posts' feature is currently intermittently unreliable in terms of positioning within the thread, I have noticed this for some days now, posts that have already been seen are sometimes still shown. No obvious correlations as to why and when observed so far. Chrome browser.

Same with Firefox 55.0.2 (64-Bit).

(Protocol shows clientcdn.pushengage.com timeouts which defer page loading and layout.)

If the page doesn't finish loading, the # ahref bookmark may not trigger to move the position within the page correctly.

Those experiencing this issue: is it solely duplicable in Firefox, not Chrome?
