Sorry about that, false alarm... behaviour is same as it was before, only showing on the first page in a thread when number of posts to show is anything other than Use Forum Default.

Removing the Quick Summary feature for posts less than 50 posts. Once a post crosses the 50 post threshold, the Quick Summary will become available. This will save screen real estate and improve the signal-to-noise ratio. Caching is in effect, so you will see some inconsistent behavior until everything is updated (no more than 2 weeks from now). Please report any problems. Mike

Quick Summary is an important section for each of all my series.
My last series is completed two months ago with 30 posts... therefore, is there any way to change your criteria from 50 to 25 posts?
In addition, the bigger problem is Quick Summary disappeared in all my series even though the 2nd and 3rd series had 202 and 77 posts.

Please reconsider your criteria and thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

So, interestingly enough, I have no idea why Quick Summary is not appearing now at all. I only had one line of code that was testing for more or less than 50 posts. I've removed it entirely, and yet it's still not showing...

So, uhm... yeah. The programmers life.

I am still trying to figure it out, including looking at the cache as a possibility.

I've consolidated the following, to help simplify things:

ThinkOrSwim Programming --> ThinkOrSwim
NinjaTrader Programming --> NinjaTrader
MetaQuotes MetaTrader Programming --> MetaTrader
Sierra Chart Programming --> Sierra Chart

In addition, I have broken out the EasyLanguage Programming so it's no longer a subforum under TradeStation, instead it's on the same level as other platforms under Platforms forum. Both TradeStation & MultiCharts still have a forum link to it at the top.

I know that Quick Summary may be bugging some of you. But honestly, I think it's time to deactivate it site-wide on the forum, due to lack of use.

I learned a lot over the years, and I think the concept of the summary could be redone in a smarter way, anyways... but not today.

So, in the meantime, if you have "lost" critical Quick Summary info from your thread that is important to you, please make a post in this thread and be sure to include a link to the thread in question. I can manually (time intensive) pull the data out of the database, by hand, one SQL query at a time... so please only ask if you do really want this info.

I am going to try my hardest to replace the decade old File Upload handler in vBulletin. I am going to try to design a drag-n-drop version and/or a Ctrl-V (Paste) version instead, where you can drag/paste your files into the post area.

I'm not promising 100% modernization with this, but at least a leap over what we have would be a win.

To my knowledge, no one has ever done this with vBulletin 3.8, so it may be more than I can swallow, but I'm hungry.

Anyway, while I am testing -- attachment uploads may be broken on an intermittent basis. If that happens, just try again in a minute.
