Is there anyway to get back to finding the latest posts regardless what thread it was made upon. Maybe there is a new place to find this information, But I liked being able to see the most recent posts people made regardless of what threads they posted on so I can see posts on old and interesting threads or posts on threads that aren't necessarily most viewed or hottest.

that would be great to have that feature back. maybe added as an option?

if you're looking for a recent post, it's much easier to navigate than the "new posts" or the "scrolling posts".

You can see the latest posts regardless of thread to the right of the chatbox, same place as always.

You can see the latest posts sorted by thread by clicking "New Posts" top of any page.

I realize people dislike change.

But, the information you want is/was already available in the New Posts link, and also mostly all repeated to right of chatbox. I don't think we need it yet again repeated like it was previously.

if you click on a post in the "new posts" link and then later you want to do it again, it's not there anymore. because it's not a new post anymore. the feature to the right of the chat box displays every single post. not very helpful to search for a certain post.

it's certainly not about disliking change. it's more about practical. sometimes I like of offer some help for questions. but if I don't see them anymore, I'm not going to search for them.

of course it's your site and you do whatever you want to.

Well, I know it is available in the New Posts link an on the right side of the chatbox.

But I just don't use to have the chatbox expanded, and if I click on one of the latest posts the thread opens in a new window which isn't necessarily an advantage...but that's only me.
And the difference is now that every single post which belongs to a particular thread is listed instead of only one entry which signals an update.

click on leftward arrow to see a bigger view of most recent thread. Ain't what it used to be but it will have to do!
