Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

cant remember if it was on chrome stable(32bit), buts its with the new "DirectWrite support on Windows for improved font rendering". i know its causing an issue with 64bit chrome stable now.

What is the exact version?

I can't really tell anything wrong from your screenshot. The issue is I run Windows 8 on a Surface Pro 2, and it does screwy font scaling due to the high DPI screen. I am close to unpacking and setting up my office computers but not there yet, so I am not rendering "normally" yet.

I am running Chrome 38.0.2125.0 dev-m and haven't seen a problem.

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

If you are up to it, update to the dev channel to get v38 and see if the issue goes away. I hope it does, that way I don't have to fix anything on my side

No, that just happened recently and I haven't had time to mess with that. Is the issue solely on 64-bit builds?

My settings should be default, which appears to be enabled (confusing description).

I haven't seen the problem myself and use Chrome. What version of Chrome are you running?

Mike

Version 37.0.2062.94 m

The areas which are most noticeable are the New Posts links, the UserCP links (ie: edit your details etc), the tags at the bottom of each thread. Basically these are less crisp and clean like they use to be. It seems slightly blurred from a poor choice of font by Chrome.

You don’t trade the markets; you only trade your beliefs about the markets.

E-Mails for mentions and quotes

@Big Mike, as I remember, you asked for e-mails disfunctions after the blackout.

Well, I think I'm not recieving e-mails when I have new mentions and quotes, and I never checked the boxes like "Disable Mention Emails".

Thanks.
