Welcome to futures io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

There are major limitations with vbulletin that prevent making a responsive site easily. I won't be tackling that.

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

I have never received a newsletter. How do you get it?

EDIT does this box need to be checked?
Receive Announcements for Webinars, Site Tutorials, Trading Training, Contests and other site-related emails from Big Mike.

@ron99, one was sent out. If you changed your options you should have received it. Can you let me know if word wrap is working on it?

Sorry for last 5 minutes of downtime. A new mod that was supposed to fix an existing problem caused it and I have now uninstalled it.

Sorry. I checked the box but didn't realize I had to scroll to the bottom to save changes. I have done that now.

Site was up/down for about 35 minutes today due to a failed hard drive replacement that went badly. I was trying to juggle a live webinar with FT71 while also talking to data center which caused delays.

Everything is back now.

@Big Mike,

if I understand right you can edit a post up to 24 hours (unless of course you're the thread starter). would it be possible to extend that for uploading an indicator?

it's really embarrassing, but I managed again to upload an indicator with a bug. it's in this post:

https://futures.io/elite-circle/12682-volume-alert-indicator-10.html#post334785

I posted a corrected version in a later post. I really hate to bother you and ask to delete that indicator. very sorry about that. just wish I could do that by myself.

I removed it.

24 hours is the max allowed except for post #1 in a thread. Generally I would say do not worry about removing an indicator from a thread unless there is a massive problem with it, instead just post a new version.
