Welcome to futures io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

In the next few minutes I will send out the first batch of our new events newsletter.

I have tried to test this format and layout the best I can, but would like everyone to please examine the events newsletter thoroughly for any problems and let me know. You can reply to the email or post it here.

If you do not receive an email in the next hour, then:

a) Have you unsubscribed? You can check in UserCP, Edit Options, under Receive Email.
b) Are you using Yahoo? Yahoo mails can be delayed around 4 hours (limits on their side).
c) Check your spam folder. If the email winds up in spam, I want to know - so please reply to the email and tell me who your email provider is and that it was in your spam folder, then please click the "not spam" option in your client.

Mike

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
6)

@Silver Dragon, since you are our iPhone tester, can you tell me whether or not there were any formatting issues with the events newsletter on the iPhone?

Futures Edge on FIO
Mine looks exactly the same as well. No issues and all links are working perfectly, using IE10.

Thanks for sending.

The "View Private Message" button on email notifications was pointing to the wrong place. I have fixed it now.

Please register on futures.io to view futures trading content such as post attachment(s), image(s), and screenshot(s).

I still need to update all email notification templates to change to the new 640px format, may be a few more days since it is lower priority.

SPDY protocol has been disabled temporarily after I confirmed it was causing a problem in some situations with large file downloads. I have an open ticket with the developer of nginx for a fix.

When I open the email telling me there is a Reply to Thread, the body of the new post is 2 feet wide. It doesn't wrap properly.

I use Windows Live Mail 2011 Version 15.4 for my emails.
