futures io is the largest futures trading community on the planet, with over 90,000 members. At futures io, our goal has always been and always will be to create a friendly, positive, forward-thinking community where members can openly share and discuss everything the world of trading has to offer. The community is one of the friendliest you will find on any subject, with members going out of their way to help others. Some of the primary differences between futures io and other trading sites revolve around the standards of our community. Those standards include a code of conduct for our members, as well as extremely high standards that govern which partners we do business with, and which products or services we recommend to our members.

At futures io, our focus is on quality education. No hype, gimmicks, or secret sauce. The truth is: trading is hard. I am going to go ahead and force a post cache update again.

This is going to cause any @ mention's to be broken for the next hour or so (only visually, not functionally) while the cache is rebuilt.

@vvhg can you please test your tools. I believe they will work without modification, as there is simply a HTTP 301 redirect from HTTP to HTTPS, but I want to be sure.

I changed the addresses to https, now everything works again, didn't work with http, gave the response "Error processing request".

Thanks Victor. Even though old versions don't work with the change, can you confirm it did not cause your NT to crash as one user reported?

No, it didn't crash NT, it all has a safety net with error handling, just printed the error to the output window.

As for sleep... lol. I am so exhausted right now, but am trying to finish up some work (trading related, as always) before winding down.



I have a hard time sleeping due to severe back pain. I am hopeful that once Open Enrollment happens in October for Obamacare, the health insurance companies will finally give me insurance again (cannot deny based on pre-existing conditions) and I will finally be able to get some relief at a reasonable cost.

Guys, I am working on rolling out a new Newsletter format for our Announcement emails. This will replace the old style, and I plan to consolidate them into one email per week with the new format.

Looks great Mike. A nice improvement.

One concern though, you mentioned it would only be sent out once a week. As far as im aware, currently webinar reminders are sent out the day before. Will those be discontinued?

Yes. Looking to consolidate to once per week. You will be able to register for all events at that time, and doing so will setup the GoToWebinar email reminder the day before the event.

Since the server move I see in the threads when a picture (or the like) is shown that underneath
all of a sudden "Attached thumbnails" is generated - which clutters a thread more.
I am not sure if I am missing here something - I could not find a option to turn thumbnails "off".

The post cache did not solve the issue. I have a very good idea exactly where the issue is, but need some help solving it. So I've created a ticket with my developer. It may take a few days.

There is another remaining issue after SSL, when linking to a futures.io (formerly BMT) thread/post URL, the raw URL is shown instead of the page title.

I have an open ticket with my developer to patch this behavior and enhance it. It may be several days.
